Harry Potter Star Says OnlyFans Account Is Barring Them From Work

A former Harry Potter actor was left feeling “canceled” after she said that her recent work on OnlyFans got her barred from a fan convention.

Jessie Cave – who appeared as Lavender Brown in the series, a character who is best known for being Ron Weasley’s girlfriend for a short time – wrote about her experience on her Substack.

“I found out that I didn’t get booked for a Harry Potter convention recently, as I’m now doing OnlyFans,” she said in her post last week, which also celebrated six months on the OnlyFans platform.

“They explained it was because it’s a ‘family show and OnlyFans is affiliated with porn,’” Jessie continued.

She explained: “This was baffling to me as some actors who do conventions (most actors, actually) have done TV and films in which they’ve done sex scenes and nudity. I’m just playing with my hair!”

Earlier this year, Jessie shared that she was joining the adults-only subscription site, where she was sharing content specifically centred around “just very sensual stuff with my hair”.

Despite the controversy, Jessie said she isn’t “upset about the prospect of no more Harry Potter conventions”.

“There’s going to be a new cast now and it’s a different time. Plus, I have done conventions for over 15 years and have enough photos and wizard memorabilia,” the 38-year-old added.

Jessie has shared that she took on her OnlyFans account to help with bills, though she has continued her work as an actor after the Harry Potter series ended.

She wrote about her new career venture, and finding it both freeing and empowering, on both her Instagram and her most recent Substack entry.

“I’ve taken control of my own career, and I’m not relying on anyone but me to make things happen,” she said in a post on Monday. “It’s going to be harder this way, but more fulfilling. I won’t be waiting for emails or validation and it’s exhilarating, I can breathe again.”

Bruce Willis’ Wife Emma Admits She Was Considering Divorce Before His Dementia Diagnosis

Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming Willis has shared that before the actor was diagnosed with dementia, the changes in his personality had begun affecting their marriage.

During a new interview with Vanity Fair, Emma admitted that while their relationship had begun as a “romantic, beautiful story”, she had even considered divorce in the period before his diagnosis, as she said it “felt like my marriage was crumbling”.

She recalled asking herself: “What is going on? This is not the person that I married. Something is just so off.”

“I just couldn’t figure it out,” she added.

In 2022, Bruce’s family – including Emma and his first wife, Demi Moore – issued a joint statement announcing in 2022 that he was experiencing had aphasia, a condition that affects the ability to communicate.

The following year, the family disclosed that the Sixth Sense actor’s condition had progressed to frontotemporal dementia. The NHS says this rare form of dementia can cause personality and behaviour changes, problems with mental abilities and issues with memory, as well as affecting one’s ability to communicate verbally.

Since Bruce’s diagnosis, Emma and the rest of his family have regularly kept his fans updated with news of his condition, as well as posting pictures and videos on social media.

Last month, Emma revealed during an interview that Bruce had recently moved out of the family home, and into accommodation where he could be professionally cared for around the clock.

“It was one of the hardest decisions that I’ve had to make so far,” the British former model told US broadcaster Diane Sawyer. “But I knew first and foremost, Bruce would want that for our daughters. He would want them to be in a home that was more tailored to their needs, not his needs.”

Emma and Bruce share two daughters, 13-year-old Mabel and 11-year-old Evelyn.

The screen legend also has three grown-up daughters with Demi Moore, 37-year-old Rumer, 34-year-old Scout and 31-year-old Tallulah.

Ayo Edebiri Swoops In To Save Co-Stars During Tense Interview Moment

Ayo Edebiri’s facial expressions are about to take you on a journey.

The Emmy-winning star of The Bear recently went viral thanks to the way she navigated a very tense interview moment.

Meanwhile, an Italian journalist who was interviewing Ayo was forced to release a statement Sunday, writing on Instagram that she has “been subjected to personal insults and attacks because of a question that, for some reason, was not well received by some members of the public”.

The incident occurred last week while Ayo and her co-stars, Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield, were speaking to the Italian outlet ArtsLife Tv about their upcoming movie After The Hunt.

During the interview, reporter Federica Polidoro asked the actors what they felt had been “lost during the politically correct era” of America.

“What [do] we have to expect in Hollywood after the Me Too movement and the Black Lives Matter [movement] are done?” she asked.

Although the question might have made some sense within the context of the film – considering that the Luca Guadagnino-helmed project explores both those themes – what made the question odd was that the Italian journalist specifically addressed Julia and Andrew, but not Ayo, who is a Black woman.

“The two of you,” she said immediately after she asked the question, clarifying she was speaking specifically to the white actors.

In response to the question, a stunned Andrew dramatically turned to his co-stars and let out a flabbergasted laugh.

“Um, well, OK,” a shocked Ayo began as Julia, who appeared perplexed, turned to her co-star apologetically.

Julia then tried to give the reporter an out.

“Uh, can you repeat that?” Roberts asked. “With your sunglasses on, I can’t tell which one of us you’re talking to, so—”

“So, the question was for Julia and Andrew,” Polidoro clarified before repeating her question.

In response, a range of emotions flashed across Ayo’s face, ending in disgruntled acceptance.

“It’s not done,” Julia began.

“Yeah, I know that [question’s] not for me, and I don’t know if it’s purposeful [that] it’s not for me, but… I don’t think it’s done,” Ayo said of Americans fighting for racial and gender equality.

She added: “Maybe if there’s not mainstream coverage in the way that there might have been, daily headlines, in the way that it might have been eight or so years ago. But I don’t think it means that the work is done. That’s what I would say.”

“I don’t think it’s done at all,” she continued. “I think, maybe, hashtags might not be used as much.

“But I do think that there’s work being done by activists, by people, every day, that’s beautiful, important work that’s not finished. [That work is] really, really, really active for a reason, because this world is really charged, and that work isn’t finished at all.”

When a clip of the moment made its way to social media platforms like X and Reddit, some users praised Ayo for how she handled the situation.

“Jesus look how hard she’s working to make sure she can speak up for herself and others without seeming difficult. That must be fucking exhausting,” a Reddit user pointed out.

“The way Andrew spun around to face Ayo, and the way Julia called that woman out for wearing her sunglasses…I love that disgusted, united front,” another Redditor said.

In her Instagram statement Sunday, Polidoro did not address why she excluded Ayo in her question. Instead, she wrote that she found it “striking” that people “who unjustly accuse me of racism and consider themselves custodians of justice” think it’s OK to send her messages that include “violent language, personal attacks, and cyberbullying”.

“Censoring or delegitimising questions considered ‘uncomfortable’ does not fall within the practice of democracy,” she wrote.

“To those who unjustly accuse me of racism, I would like to clarify that in my work I have interviewed people of every background and ethnicity, and my own family is multi-ethnic, matriarchal, and feminist, with a significant history of immigration.”

She added: “In my view, the real racists are those who see racism everywhere and seek to muzzle journalism, limiting freedom of analysis, critical thinking, and the plurality of perspectives.”
