Strictly Pro Karen Hauer Unable To Dance In Live Final Due To Injury

Long-serving Strictly Come Dancing professional Karen Hauer has announced she’ll not be able to perform during the live final this weekend due to an injury.

Karen was partnered with The Crown actor Greg Wise in this year’s series, and had been due to reunite with the rest of the cast for a group number in Saturday’s live show.

However, the Venezualen performer has told her Instagram followers that she will not be able to dance in the number, after hurting her knee.

She said earlier this week: “Currently, I have two things wrong with my knee. There’s a little bit of a tear on my meniscus and then there’s also a little cartilage flap behind my knee.

“But they’re very minor so instead of an op I got a knee injection so that’s good news.”

Karen later confirmed that while we would be able to see her during the group number, she won’t be able to dance as a result of her injury.

“I’m going to be making a little appearance on the dance floor but not dancing, probably waving,” she revealed. “But I’ll definitely be there.”

It was also confirmed on Friday that finalist AJ Odudu had been forced to withdraw from the competition at the eleventh hour due to a torn ligament.

Because of this, the final will be going ahead with just two contestants in the running, EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis and former Bake Off winner John Whaite.

Former contestant Tilly Ramsay will be completely absent from the group dance after testing positive for Covid, as will Robert Webb, who pulled out of the show for medical reasons back in October.

He explained: “My love for Strictly is a season that is forever summer. However, the producers understood that when I had to stop, I had to stop completely…

“If I gave out a few more details about what the show had been doing to me physically and mentally, you wouldn’t be surprised that the offer of one more dance was politely declined.”

Strictly returns on Saturday night at 7pm on BBC One.

Millie Court and Liam Reardon have won this year’s Love Island

After the result of the public vote was announced, Millie and Liam had to decide whether to stick or split the cash prize.

Millie received the envelope with the money but decided to split it with Liam. meaning they took home £25,000 each.

Speaking after their win, she said: “I cannot believe we have just been crowned the winners of Love Island. We have literally had the summer of our lives and we are going to leave here and now explore our future together.”

During an interview with host Laura Whitmore, Liam also asked Millie to officially be his girlfriend.

The couple had a rocky journey in the Love Island villa, with Millie previously calling things off with Liam when she discovered he had been unfaithful to her with Lillie Haynes during the Casa Amor twist.

Meanwhile, during their final interviews, Toby joked that describing his relationship with Chloe as a “massive journey” was an “understatement” after the pair also broke up and then got back together during the series.

The Cast Of Gogglebox Reacting To Naked Attraction Was Obviously A Match Made In Comedy Heaven

Seeing the cast of Gogglebox’s take on the past seven days of telly has been the highlight of our week for some time now, so when we saw that they’d be tackling one of Naked Attraction’s most iconic episodes ever, we knew we were in for a treat.

During Friday night’s show, the Goggleboxers sat down in their respective homes to watch a classic Naked Attraction episode that had aired on Channel 4 earlier in the week.

Things got off to a promising start, with long-serving cast member Stephen keeping his fingers crossed for “willies”, and Shirley declaring she “wouldn’t want to show my fanny to everyone, love”.

The episode in question introduced 57-year-old Judith, a church-going woman who decided that after surviving breast cancer and caring for her elderly mother, she deserved a bit of a treat.

“Who does she want to meet at 57?” Shirley questioned, to which her husband Dave suggested: “Someone half-tidy, I expect. With a big knob.”

Fan favourites Jenny and Lee were engrossed from the beginning, with the former declaring: “Let’s see what she’s got on offer.”

However, there was no preparing for some of the lines Judith would end up coming out with as she whittled down her prospective dates, including her suggestiion she’s happy with anything from “eight to 11 inches” and the immortal line: “God what a c**k!”

And pretty much everyone was speechless as the iconic Shirley performed a rendition of The Lord Is My Shepherd, accompanying herself on the keyboard, while her prospective dates swayed nude in the background.

As Louis Michael put it: “Just when you think it can’t get any more surreal, she whips out a piano and puts on a one-woman show. For the penises.”

“We all need a little bit of Judith in us really, don’t we?” Stephen said at the end of the episode.

Frankly, we can not agree more.

Gogglebox airs every Friday night at 9pm on Channel 4.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK: Bimini Bon Boulash’s Katie Price Impression Was So Good Even Bafta Has Endorsed It

We were left “clapping for the UK Hun” Bimini Bon Boulash after the latest episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, and it seems we were not the only ones bowled over by her Katie Price impression on Snatch Game.

In fact, so good was her send up of Pricey that Bafta has officially endorsed it.

The latest episode of the hit BBC Three reality show saw the remaining queens tasked with impersonating a host of celebrities in the iconic Snatch Game challenge.

After the show debuted on Thursday night, the meme account Love Of Huns posted a clip of Bimini’s performance on Instagram, along with the caption: “Bimini’s Katie Price is truly BAFTA worthy.”

It soon caught the attention of the official Bafta account, who very much agreed, commenting with a trophy emoji.

With the TV Baftas scheduled to happen later in the year, we’re on tenterhooks to find out if Bimini bags a nomination.

Drag Race fans are still waiting to hear what the woman herself thought of the performance, as Katie is yet to comment.

However, after the show aired, Bimini was sure to reiterate that her impression was done with a lot of love.

She tweeted: “I also ADORE AND LOVE @KatiePrice and I always have. She’s an absolute icon and I hope I did her proud.”

The internet was lapping up Bimini’s Snatch Game, and she was trending on Twitter thanks to all the praise she was receiving.

And while Ellie Diamond didn’t receive a top placing from the judges after taking off Matt LucasLittle Britain character Vicky Pollard, the comedian was apparently very impressed.

He tweeted: “Thank you @elliediamond101 for smashing Vicky Pollard! I’m flattered, humbled and still laughing xxx.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race continues next Thursday, with the new episode available to stream on BBC Three from 7pm.
