Miley Cyrus Reflects On Falling In Love With Ex-Husband Liam Hemsworth On Set

Miley Cyrus has reflected on the early days of her relationship with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.

To promote her new single Used To Be Young, Miley has taken part in a series of TikTok videos looking back at key moments in her life and career, and sharing her memories from that time.

In one clip, the chart-topping singer reflects on appearing in the film The Last Song, which is where she and her future husband met.

In 2008 I needed to do another feature film for Disney and I didn’t want it to be a part of Hannah Montana,” she recalled.

“Once we had written the screenplay, it was time to audition all the guys who [wanted to] play Will, my boyfriend in the movie. We had gotten it down from thousands to the final three, and Liam was a part of that final three.”

The Flowers singer continued: “I think one of the elements that made that movie feel so special was that it was watching two very young people fall in love with each other, which was happening in real-time, and in real life.

“So, the chemistry was undeniable. And that was the beginning of a long 10-year relationship.”

Holding up a photo of herself on set, she then joked: “I’m just your average teen with 250 individual hair extensions.”

Miley and Liam began their relationship in 2009, eventually getting engaged before going their separate ways in September 2013.

The former couple then reunited in 2016, announcing their second engagement a few months later before tying the knot in December 2018.

Just under a year later, they announced their plans to divorce, with Miley subsequently being linked to Australian singer Cody Simpson, media personality Kaitlynn Carter and musician Maxx Morando.

As part of her Used To Be Young video series, Miley has spoken about other big moments in her past, including her past dispute with Sinéad O’Connor, the fall-out from her Vanity Fair photo-shoot when she was a teenager and how she and her father Billy Ray Cyrus have markedly different attitudes to fame.

Naomi Campbell Reacts To Criticism Over Her Collab With Fast Fashion Brand Pretty Little Thing

Naomi Campbell has spoken out about criticism over her decision to partner with fast fashion brand PrettyLittleThing.

The supermodel recently announced a PLT collection which will “pay homage to [her] legacy and iconic signature style”.

However, many critics have questioned her decision to work with the brand, which has a rating of “Not Good Enough” from the website Good On You, who rate fashion companies’ sustainability credentials.

Naomi has responded to critics in an interview with W magazine, first saying she hasn’t “really seen” the backlash.

“I haven’t had time,” she added. “I got two kids, two babies, to take care of.

“But you know what? I’ve made my commitment and I’ve done what I wanted to do. I want to collaborate with young, emerging designers.

“And so for me, if I can get them on the platform, and get the light shone on them […] that makes me happy.”

When the interviewer reiterated that Noami’s decision to partner with PLT feels “interesting” given the fashion world’s current “focus on sustainability,” she replied: “I understand people’s criticism.

“I understand what people are going to say, but I took it from a standpoint of getting to know the audience of the younger generation and being able to share my platform.

“There are so many other fast-fashion brands out there—do people say anything about other models when they work with them?

“Do they say anything when other Caucasian models have worked with fast-fashion brands and done collaborations? They’ve said not a word. They’ve praised them. So why are they coming for me?”

For the PLT collaboration, Naomi has worked with emerging fashion designers Victor Anate, from Nigeria, and Jamaica-born Edvin Thompson, who is based in New York City.

The sizes will range from 4 to 30 and prices will be between £10 and £120.

Naomi is far from the first celebrity to draw heat for partnering with a fast fashion website and Kourtney Kardashian was previously forced to defend herself after a backlash over her role as a Boohoo ambassador with a focus on sustainability.

Molly-Mae Hague also faced similar criticism when she became PLT’s creative director in 2021. She never addressed the row, and eventually stepped down from the role earlier this year to spend more time with her daughter, Bambi.

Meanwhile, Laura Whitmore raised eyebrows with her decision to sign up as Primark’s “I Care” ambassador in the same year.

The presenter announced the role in a post on Instagram, but many accused Primark of “green-washing” and pointed out that Laura’s lengthy post failed to specify exactly what they would be doing to be more sustainable.

Despite criticisms, brands such as PLT and Boohoo continue to announce multiple celebrity collabs each year, with Love Islanders routinely signing deals shortly after leaving the villa.

Fans Of Joe Jonas And Sophie Turner Are Not Coping Well With The Pair’s Rumoured Split

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are at the centre of fresh break-up rumours – and people are not handling it very well.

On Sunday, TMZ was the first to report that the Jonas Brothers singer and former Game Of Thrones actor were preparing to divorce after around four years of marriage.

People magazine subsequently quoted an undisclosed “source” who claimed that Joe had “retained a divorce lawyer”.

Neither party is yet to comment on the rumours publicly, but that hasn’t stopped fans over on X (formerly Twitter) from sharing their feelings anyway. And let’s just say, they’re not taking it very well.

HuffPost UK has contacted representatives for Joe Jonas. Sophie Turner’s representatives declined to comment.

Joe and Sophie first began dating in 2017, and a year later announced their plans to wed.

They eventually tied the knot in 2019, first in a Las Vegas service following that year’s Billboard Music Awards, and later with a more lavish ceremony in Paris.

Since then, the pair have become parents to three-year-old Willa and a second child, whose name they have not disclosed publicly, in 2022.

Joe is best known for his work alongside his siblings Nick and Kevin Jonas in The Jonas Brothers. He was also the frontman of the group DNCE, whose hit Cake By The Ocean reached number four in the UK in 2015.

Meanwhile, Sophie played Sansa Stark in all eight seasons of Game Of Thrones, a role which earned her an Emmy in 2019.

She has also appeared in the true crime drama The Staircase and the films X-Men: Apocalypse and Do Revenge.

Selena Gomez Wishes She Had A Better Story About Breaking Her Arm

Selena Gomez is reluctantly telling the real story about breaking her arm ― even though she wishes she had a better excuse for the injury.

“I wish I had, like, a really cool story that I saved someone’s life or something,” the Lose You To Love Me singer said during a recent appearance on the Ellen K Morning Show.

“But I was in a long dress ― it was a summer dress ― and I was walking from my car to my house and tripped,” Gomez said.

Ellen K chimed in to tell the singer, “As a mother, I just want to say if you were my daughter, I would say, ‘Thank God you didn’t break your teeth.’”

“Yes, that’s what the doctor said,” Gomez answered. “I guess there is a silver lining. But this is not fun, this is not fun,” she added, waving her black cast in the air.

Gomez revealed her injury to fans on Instagram earlier this week when she commented on a post about her new single, “Single Soon.”

“Broke my hand and had surgery,” she wrote. “I don’t care about selling anything. I’m just happy to make music with my friends.”

The singer continued her active streak on social media as she shut down speculation that her new single was about her ex, The Weeknd, because of the song’s lyrics.

“Should I do it on the phone? / Should I leave a little note in the pocket of his coat? (Yeah) / Maybe I’ll just disappear / I don’t wanna see a tear / And the weekend’s almost here,” she sings.

But Gomez said the implication the song is about the musician “Couldn’t be more false.”

The former Disney Channel star previously told Vogue in 2021 that she was contemplating retiring from music.

“It’s hard to keep doing music when people don’t necessarily take you seriously,” she told the publication. “I’ve had moments where I’ve been like, ‘What’s the point? Why do I keep doing this?’ ‘Lose You to Love Me’ I felt was the best song I’ve ever released, and for some people, it still wasn’t enough.”

She explained, “I think there are a lot of people who enjoy my music, and for that I’m so thankful, for that I keep going, but I think the next time I do an album, it’ll be different. I want to give it one last try before I maybe retire from music.”

Ellie Goulding Shares Update Following Pyrotechnic Mishap During Live Performance

Ellie Goulding has assured her fans she’s doing well following an incident during one of her recent live shows.

Over the weekend, the chart-topping singer was performing her recent hit Miracle at Victorious Festival in Portsmouth, when a stage firework appeared to go off at the wrong time, and ignited close to her face.

The moment was recorded and shared online, with Ellie heard briefly screaming after the firework went off, before shaking it off and carrying on with the rest of her number.

Shortly afterwards, Ellie spoke out to let her Instagram followers know she was “intact” after the performance.

To those asking, I am OK!” she insisted on her Instagram story. “Pyro didn’t hit me directly in the face. Face is intact.”

Ellie signed off her message “love you, thank you”, adding a firework gif to her post.

The British star recently enjoyed a chart resurgence after teaming up with Calvin Harris for the trance-inspired Miracle, which reached number one in the UK singles chart.

This marked the third time the two musicians have worked together, previously releasing the top 10 hits I Need Your Love and Outside in 2013 and 2014, respectively.

Earlier this year, Ellie unveiled her fifth studio album Higher Than Heaven, which gave the Anything Could Happen singer her fourth number one in the UK, in the same week that Miracle also reached its peak in the singles chart.

To coincide with the release, she’s set to tour the UK and select cities in Europe in October.

Stormzy And Maya Jama Spark Reunion Rumours As They’re Snapped Holding Hands On Holiday

Stormzy and Maya Jama are at the centre of speculation they’re back together after they were seen holding hands while on holiday in Greece.

The award-winning rapper and Love Island host were previously in a relationship for four years, before going their separate ways in 2019. In the years since, they’ve repeatedly been rumoured to have reunited, which they have previously always denied.

Over the weekend, the rumour mill went into overdrive when fans began to suspect that Stormzy and Maya were on holiday together, after their followers began to pick up on some similarities between the pair’s social media posts.

A post from TikTok user Georgina Ball – which suggested Stormzy had “soft launched” the reunion – even racked up as many as 4.2 million views.

While neither Stormzy nor Maya commented on the speculation, the Daily Mail later published photos of them walking around Hydra Island together hand-in-hand.

In the pictures, posted on Sunday, the two are seen smiling as they walk through the town holding hands, in matching white ensembles.

After the photos were shared on Sunday, fans were quick to share their reactions over on X (formerly known as Twitter):

Maya Jama’s team had no comment when contacted by HuffPost UK.

We have also contacted representatives for Stormzy.

Stormzy previously referenced his break-up from Maya on his third album This Is What I Mean, which reached number one upon its release last year.

The former Glastonbury headliner later opened up about the split during a sit-down interview with Louis Theroux.

“My break-up, that was probably the biggest catalyst for growth as a man,” Stormzy said. “It was like, OK, you made a mistake and you lose someone you loved, someone you cared for, someone who is special to you.

“That’s probably the biggest loss a man can have, isn’t it? Away from someone passing away, that’s the biggest loss you can have.

“The whole fucking palaver that surrounded that situation, do you know what I mean? There were other things in terms of mistakes I’d made. I didn’t do what a man should do to fully appreciate love, and care for his woman.”

Joe Jonas Reflects On Public Reaction To Story About Pooping His Pants Onstage

Joe Jonas may not have expected a candid story about once pooping his pants onstage to explode on the internet.

In an article published on Thursday, the Just in Love singer told People that the headlines and wide response to his accident were actually “quite fun” for him.

“I like people to come up with their own idea of what it was,” he said.

Joe had previously discussed the poopy incident during an appearance on the Australian podcast Will & Woody in July.

He told hosts Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw that it had taken place about four years prior — though he didn’t share the specific date or location of the concert in question.

“There’s a point in your life where, as an adult, you can remember the last time you shit your pants,” he said, later adding that it was “a bad day to choose to wear white clothing”.

The Jonas Brothers member recalled that the unfortunate event prompted him to change his wardrobe in the middle of a set.

“I feel like I’ve paid my dues and I’m a part of some secret club now,” Joe said at the time.

Still, he told People this week that the ordeal onstage was “a scare”.

His younger brother and bandmate Nick Jonas expressed amazement at how quickly the news had spread. “This story went everywhere,” he recalled.

The Jonas Brothers are currently on tour, with their next concert in Missouri on Sunday.

Kevin Jonas, the eldest member of the group, celebrated the ongoing tour in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

“Can’t believe we get to do this every night with all of you and the best band out there!!” he told followers.

Strictly’s Amy Dowden Says She’s ‘Feeling Good’ Despite New ‘Hurdle’ During Cancer Treatment

Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has updated fans on her condition after recently beginning a second course of chemotherapy.

Earlier this year, Amy shared that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, and after undergoing a mastectomy, more tumours and another form of the disease were discovered.

To treat her cancer, the Welsh ballroom and Latin dance performer began a particular chemotherapy treatment known as the “red devil” at the beginning of this month, and recently shared how she was feeling during her second round.

On Wednesday evening, Amy posted a selfie from a hospital bed, celebrating the fact she was going home to her own bed, apparently for the first time since Monday.

And although she shared that she’d been presented with “another hurdle”, Amy assured her followers she was “feeling good”.

“And I’m going home to my own bed!” she enthused. “Thanks again to the marvellous NHS!

“Got some blood clots but I’m feeling good other than a sore and swollen arm. Another hurdle along this journey. But again forever grateful to the NHS and my heroes around me. Can’t wait to get into my own bed [for the first time] since Monday though.”

In her previous update, Amy spoke candidly about the “heartbreaking” side-effects of her chemotherapy treatment, and admitted she was finding hair loss especially difficult.

On Wednesday night, she posted a picture on her Instagram story of herself holding some of the hair she’d lost, writing: “Welcome home! So much every day! So hard! One day at a time!”

While Amy’s treatment means she will not be able to compete on Strictly when it returns to our screens next month, she previously shared that she wanted to be “present” during this year’s live shows “in some way”.

“If I have to have chemotherapy, I’ll be present in some way, even if I’m in a wig,” she told The Mirror back in June. “I know amazing hair people with Strictly.

“Whether it’s on It Takes Two, or being up in Claudia’s area waiting for the scores, I’ll be there.”

Amy first competed on Strictly in 2017, and during that time has been partnered with contestants including actor Danny John-Jules, EastEnders stars Brian Conley and James Bye, Invictus Games athlete JJ Chalmers, McFly singer Tom Fletcher and presenter Karim Zeroual, with whom she reached the Strictly final back in 2019.

Last year, she also danced with CBeebies regular George Webster on Strictly’s annual Christmas special.

Chrissy Teigen Goes Topless On Social Media To Remind Fans To Get Mammograms

Chrissy Teigen posted a skin-baring selfie on social media to remind her fans to schedule their routine health screenings.

On Thursday, the former FABLife host shared a topless photo on Instagram as she took her 42 million followers on a journey with her to the doctor’s office for her mammogram and breast ultrasound.

“Mammogram/boob ultrasound reminder!” she captioned the post. “When else do you get to see your boob as a one inch steak!? Ultrasound also comes with free titty lotion good for the entire day!!”

Mammograms are X-ray pictures of the breasts that can help detect breast cancer early on, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women and affects one in eight women in the United States, per the American Cancer Society.

Chrissy, who shares four kids with her husband John Legend, hasn’t been shy in the past about giving her fans friendly reminders to get their regular health exams.

Last month, she shared details about undergoing her first colonoscopy on her Instagram Stories, urging her followers to do the same even if they are her age or “a little younger.”

“Soon there’s going to be a very large jump in people my age and even a little younger getting colon cancer because we don’t get checked,” Chrissy explained. “And we don’t get checked because we’re not told to. You think that your parents are the ones that get checked.”

Current guidelines from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommend that adults age 45 to 75 be screened for colorectal cancer.

“I have my first colonoscopy tomorrow because I was told by my doctor that people are getting it younger and younger and they should go in earlier and earlier to get checked now,” she added.

After her procedure wrapped up, she shared an update with her followers: “I just woke up from my colonoscopy and I feel great. It took like 20 minutes. I honestly wish it took longer because it was a good nap.”

If you’re ever in need of an instant pick-me-up, may I direct you to Alison Hammond’s legendary This Morning interview with Ryan and his Blade Runner 2049 co-star Harrison Ford?

Alison set the tone by admitting she’s never seen the original Blade Runner movie and then describing her interviewing technique as “bleak, dystopian, [and] an absolute nightmare to be honest with you”, before the whole thing got progressively more chaotic, with Ryan pouring out a miniature whiskey, collapsing into giggles and pretending to walk off camera in outrage.

What better way to celebrate a milestone birthday and a huge box office success than with a themed flashmob, tbh?

When Barbie director Greta Gerwig turned 40 earlier this month, Ryan marked the occasion by sending a group of dancing Kens to turn up at her Pilates class to throw shapes to his song I’m Just Ken, who were later joined by a squad of Barbies to perform a routine to Dance The Night, another favourite from the film’s soundtrack.

By the end of this extravaganza, which was captured on film and shared on the Barbie movie’s Instagram account, Greta seems to be crying happy tears, and we don’t blame her one bit.

3. When he took his Kenergy to the Barbie red carpet

Any one of Ryan’s red carpet appearances during the Barbie press tour would be deserving of a spot on this list, like when he told reporters how to best channel their Kenergy and reminded them they are, in fact, “Kenough”.

But if we had to pick a favourite, it would be this run-in with reporter Amelia Dimoldenberg, who asked Ryan about the best way to find a Ken of her own. He then advised her to drop something, suggesting that a true Ken will pick it up before quickly moving on so as not to invade your space – which inevitably lead to Amelia dropping her notecards.

Proving he’s a true Ken at heart, he picked them up, saying: ‘Here, you dropped this’, before walking off.

4. When he paid tribute to Eva Mendes in his Golden Globes speech…
