Strictly Professional Karen Hauer Marries Partner Jordan Wyn-Jones In Intimate ‘Fairytale’ Wedding

Karen and Jordan tied the knot on Tuesday in an intimate “fairytale” ceremony attended by many of her fellow Strictly co-stars, including Janette Manrara and Luba Mushtuk.

Speaking to Hello! magazine about their big day, the Venezuelan-American dancer said: “It feels like a fairytale day. It felt so special to bring our families and friends together.

“I haven’t seen my family for the last two years so it’s really touching to bring them here and be able to share this amazing moment with them.”

The couple held their wedding at Chewton Glen in Hampshire.

Karen went public with her relationship with the Australian fitness expert in the summer of 2021.

She was previously married to fellow performer and her former dance partner Matthew Hauer, as well as Strictly Come Dancing champion Kevin Clifton.

Following her split from Kevin in 2018, Karen began dating opera singer David Webb, though they went their separate ways in 2020.

Karen is now Strictly’s longest-serving female professional, after joining the show in 2012.

In that time, she’s been partnered with celebrities including Westlife singer Nicky Byrne, reality stars Mark Wright and Jamie Laing, comedian Chris Ramsey and The Crown actor Greg Wise.

She was also paired with pop star Will Young, who stepped down from the show in 2016 as the BBC series was taking its toll on his mental health.

Earlier this year it was confirmed that Karen would be back on Strictly for her 11th series when the show returns to our screens in the autumn.

Kylie Minogue Reflects On Infamous Kylie Jenner Lawsuit: ‘It Just Had To Be Done’

Kylie Minogue has reflected on the infamous lawsuit she became embroiled in when Kylie Jenner attempted to trademark their shared first name.

It was reported back in 2016 that the singer had taken issue with the reality star’s plans to trademark the name “Kylie” and become a mononym in the style of Madonna, Cher and Prince on the make-up kits she had become popular for around that time.

The Australian star eventually emerged triumphant in the legal battle, during which the other Kylie was notoriously referred to in court papers as a “secondary reality TV personality”, compared to Ms Minogue, the “internationally-renowned performing artist, humanitarian and breast cancer activist”.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday night, the 54-year-old was asked about the lawsuit by a caller.

“When I was named Kylie, I think I met one person older than me called Kylie,” she explained, saying the name was “kind of unusual”.

Kylie added: “I’ve spent a lifetime protecting my brand and building my brand so it was just something that had to be done.”

“Yes it was,” agreed Andy Cohen, with Kylie adding: “But let me also say we came to an agreement.”

The host then questioned whether Kylie had been forced to have any contact with Kris Jenner (the other Kylie’s “momager”) over the matter, to which she insisted: “No, but I’d love to meet them.”

In 2018, Kylie admitted she was “upset” that the “secondary reality TV personality” quote had been falsely attributed to her in the press.

“Can you imagine me saying that?” she said at the time. “That was just unfortunate that that is how those lawyers speak.

“So I genuinely hope that it’s understood: That certainly did not come from me.”

Jesy Nelson Speaks Out Amid Reports Her Solo Album Has Been Pushed Back

Jesy Nelson has spoken out following claims her debut solo album has been “delayed”.

Over the weekend, The Sun reported that Jesy’s upcoming release was “on ice” after “early versions of her new tracks failed to impress record label bosses”.

The former Little Mix singer has now had her say on the matter, insisting that her album is actually “almost finished” after working on new music in Los Angeles.

“Don’t usually comment on stuff like this because I can’t be bothered to waste my energy on total and utter nonsense,” Jesy wrote on her Instagram story on Monday morning.

She added that she would “address this once and once only”, to put fans who were “freaking out” about the reports at ease.

“I promise you there is absolutely nothing to worry about,” she insisted. “I’ve had an amazing time in the studio in LA working on my album which is almost finished.

“I’m so excited for you all to hear the next single which is coming soon. So, stay tuned. I love you all and thank you for being so patient.”

HuffPost UK previously learned that Jesy’s label was yet to hear her new music, and a release date for the album would not be decided upon until she finished recording songs and choosing which tracks would make it onto the collection.

Jesy released her debut solo single Boyz in October last year.

Jesy announced she was leaving Little Mix after almost a decade with the group in December 2020, telling fans at the time that being part of the group was taking a toll on her mental health.

While this was initially thought to be an amicable exit, Jesy has since revealed that she and her former bandmates are no longer in touch.

Sam Fender Issues Apology Over ‘Ill-Judged’ And ‘Ignorant’ Johnny Depp Post

Sam Fender has issued an apology after sharing a photo of himself with Johnny Depp on his Instagram page, in which he described the actor as a “hero”.

Earlier this week, Depp won a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard, over a 2018 article she wrote for the Washington Post.

Although Heard’s article did not mention Depp by name, his lawyers alleged that it falsely implied he had physically and sexually abused her during their relationship.

Having appeared in person throughout the trial in May, which took place in the US, Depp flew to the UK when it was over, where he has been making guest appearances on musician Jeff Beck’s tour.

In Thursday, when the verdict was announced, Depp was in the North East, and shortly afterwards was seen drinking in a pub with both Beck and local musician Sam Fender.

The Seventeen Going Under singer shared a picture of the event on his Instagram story at the time, describing Depp and Beck as “some serious heroes”, although he later issued an apology for his choice of words.

I want to apologise,” he wrote on his Instagram story on Saturday. “I was invited to briefly meet a musical legend and an actor who has been in almost every film I’ve watched growing up. I went – we chatted music and without thinking I took a photo and posted it as it was pretty surreal”

The Brit Award winner continued: “Using the word ‘heroes’ was meant in reference to their careers, but in the context of the trial was severely misinformed.

“I now realise that it was a poor choice of words and timing, but that’s irrelevant. It was naive and disrespectful to those who relate to any of the issues highlighted in the trial and the broader issues it poses. I didn’t think it through and I should have.

“I can’t really say anything other than it was ill-judged and I was ignorant with regard to the trials as a whole, and thoughtless on what my post could imply. I realise this entirely, and for that I’m deeply sorry.”

Amber Heard’s legal team has already made it clear they intend to appeal the jury’s decision, which they’ve claimed she has “excellent grounds” for.

Shakira And Barcelona Footballer Gerard Piqué Confirm Split After 11 Years Together

Shakira and partner Gerard Piqué have parted ways after over a decade together, the former couple confirmed on Saturday.

In a joint statement announcing the split, Shakira and Gerard said: “We regret to confirm that we are separating. We ask for privacy at this moment for the wellbeing of our children, who are our maximum priority.”

“Thank you in advance for your understanding and respect,” they added.

The chart-topping Hips Don’t Lie singer and FC Barcelona player began dating shortly after meeting at the Fifa World Cup in 2010, where Shakira performed the official song Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) and Gerard was one of the players on the winning team, Spain.

During their relationship, they welcomed two sons, seven-year-old Sasha, and nine-year-old Mila.

Born in Colombia, Shakira relocated to Barcelona in the 2010s, where she and Gerard had been living together with their family.

Shakira is currently awaiting trial for alleged tax fraud, after losing an appeal last month.

Prosecutors in Spain have alleged that the star had failed to pay up to around £12.4 million in tax on income earned between 2012 and 2014.

According to Reuters, they are arguing that Shakira was living in Catalonia during this period, although she has insisted she did not permanently move there until 2015.

Her legal representatives have insisted: “Shakira’s conduct on tax matters has always been impeccable in all the countries she had to pay taxes and she has trusted and followed faithfully the recommendations of the best specialists and advisers.”

Shakira is currently gearing up for the release of her twelfth studio album, telling PA Media that it was a “family project” as her children came up with the concept for her Te Felicito music video.

Liam Payne Clarifies Zayn Malik Comments: ‘I Didn’t Articulate Myself As Well As I Could Have’

Liam Payne has spoken out after hitting the headlines for comments he made about his former bandmate Zayn Malik.

Earlier this week, the former One Direction star’s interview with YouTuber Logan Paul was shared online, during which he spoke about past tensions within the boyband.

He was also asked about Zayn, who quit 1D in 2014, a year before the group announced they’d be going on an indefinite hiatus.

“There’s many reasons why I dislike Zayn and there’s many reasons why I’ll always, always be on his side,” Liam said.

“You can always look at the man for where he is and say ‘Whatever, that guy’s a dick,’ but at the end of the day once you understand what he’s been through to get to that point and also if he even wanted to be there. I’m so misunderstood by myself more than anyone… I can’t sit here and dick on him.”

Liam added: “I can’t commend some of the things he’s done, I can’t be on his side for that.

“What I can say is I understand…. You hope at some point the person on the other side of the phone wants to receive the help you’re willing to give them.”

As his remarks became more widespread, Liam posted a clarification on his Twitter page.

I wouldn’t normally comment on this stuff but when it’s your family it’s hard to let it slide,” he tweeted.

“They mentioned a specific incident involving Zayn which I responded to – but listening back maybe I didn’t articulate myself as well as I could have.

“I was saying that there will always be things we disagree on but that I will always, always be on his side. That’s family. Zayn is my brother and I will stand by him forever.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Liam admitted that while he and Louis Tomlinson are now “best mates”, they “hated” one another during their time in One Direction.

Kim Kardashian Says She’d Consider Eating Poo To Look Younger

“I’ll try anything,” the beauty and reality TV mogul told The New York Times in a recent interview about her new skin care line.

“If you told me that I literally had to eat poop every single day and I would look younger, I might. I just might.”

The new line, SKKN by Kim, is a nine-product skin routine mirroring her own elaborate regimen: cleanser, toner, exfoliator, hyaluronic acid serum, vitamin C serum, face cream, eye cream, oil drops and night oil. The brand launches next month and joins her existing makeup and shapewear lines, KKW Beauty and Skims.

The nine items come to an eye-popping total of $630, which Kim told the Times was necessary in order to include the ingredients she wanted.

She said she uses the products on her neck and décolletage all the way “down to my nipples.”

The Times clarified that, as yet, “excrement is not one of the ingredients in Ms. Kardashian’s new skin care line”.

Paul Hollywood Admits Fame Has Turned Him Into A ‘Hermit’: ‘I Don’t Trust People Anymore’

Paul Hollywood has opened up about the impact of fame on his personal life, admitting he now finds it difficult to trust other people.

The Great British Bake Off star is the only member of the current cast to have appeared in every series, as well as crossing the pond to judge various American versions of the show.

As a result of this, he’s arguably become Bake Off’s most recognisable figure, though he has admitted this has come with its setbacks.

In a wide-ranging interview with The Times (£), Paul admitted he had issues with paparazzi photographers coming to his home – even during lockdown.

The paps didn’t care about the rules – they still came to my house,” he said. “They waited on the drive till I took the bins out and then it was, ‘Oi, Hollywood, you c***!’ or, ‘You Scouse t***!’. They need you to look up. What they really want is to get the angry shot. Well, I wouldn’t give it to them.

“And one time I caught the abuse on my doorbell camera and gave it to the police. They told the photographer if he came back he’d be arrested.”

When Bake Off made the jump from the BBC to Channel 4, Paul was famously the only member of the on-screen team to stay with the show, with reports in the press claiming his salary had been bumped up as a result of the move.

“I was called every name under the sun,” he recalled of that period. “It was so horrendous, I actually cried. No one wants to be painted as the pantomime villain, especially when I was just sticking with a job I loved. But you can’t kick against it.

“David Walliams actually took me aside and said, ‘Mate, it’s just a game. Enjoy it.’ You’re clickbait, basically. But it hurt me. After a while, though, I got tough. I just thought, ‘OK, I’ll be your bad guy’.”

On how fame has affected him, he continued: “I don’t trust people anymore. I’m really wary of who gets close and I never used to be like that. In fact, I’m a hermit, whereas I used to be the life and soul of the party.

“I was always first down the bowling alley. But now quite often someone suggests going out and I’ll say, ‘Yeah, I’ll be there,’ and I don’t go.”

Paul added: “There is no school that tells you how to deal with being in the public eye. And however much you think you’re not going to change, it’s impossible to stay the same. I defy anyone to do it.”

Earlier this year, Paul was back in action with his fellow judge Prue Leith for the latest edition of the celebrity version of Bake Off.

The duo will be joined by Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding when the long-running reality show returns to Channel 4 for its baker’s dozen 13th season later in the year.

Aerosmith Postpone Vegas Residency As Frontman Steven Tyler Enters Rehab

Aerosmith have confirmed they are delaying the start of their upcoming Las Vegas residency after frontman Steven Tyler made the decision to enter a rehab centre.

In a statement posted on their Instagram page, the band explained that Steven had relapsed following surgery on his foot.

As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven has worked on his sobriety for many years,” they explained.

“After foot surgery to prepare for the stage and the necessity of pain management during the process, he has recently relapsed and voluntarily entered a treatment program to concentrate on his health and recovery.”

The hit rock group were supposed to have begun their residency in Vegas next month, though these shows have now been pushed back until September.

“We are devastated that we have inconvenienced so many of you, especially our most loyal fans who often travel great distances to experience our shows,” the band’s statement continued.

“Thank you for your understanding and for your support for Steven during this time.”

Steven has spoken candidly in the past about being addicted to drugs throughout the late 1970s and 80s, telling People magazine he took “heroin, coke, Valium, anything that anyone came near with”.

“We believed that the road to wisdom was through excess,” he previously told GQ magazine. “But it got really bad in the 80s.

“What happens with using is: It works in the beginning, but it doesn’t work in the end. It takes you down. There’s nothing but jail, insanity, or death.”

After his bandmates staged an intervention, Steven successfully completed a stint in rehab in 1988. In 2019, he told GQ he had been sober for nine years.

Noel Gallagher ‘Covered In Blood’ And Needing Stitches After Being Headbutted During Manchester City Celebrations

Noel Gallagher has revealed he needed stitches and was “covered in blood” after getting accidentally headbutted by Manchester City player Ruben Dias’ dad.

The Oasis star was in the stands at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon to watch Manchester City score three goals in five minutes to secure the Premier League trophy.

The musician and lifelong City fan was celebrating with the fans before getting caught by Ruben’s dad during the chaotic celebrations.

Sharing the story on talkSPORT, he said: “So as the third goal goes in, right, there is absolute bedlam, as you can imagine, in the stadium. Where we sit, Reuben Diaz’s family are in the box, a couple of boxes up.

“So I’m jumping around like an idiot, passing my 11-year-old son around like the Premier League trophy, everyone is lifting him up.

“I turn around and Rúben Dias’ dad runs straight into me, headbutts me while I’m on the floor covered in blood. I don’t see the last two minutes I’ve got to get taken down by the St John Ambulance and had to get stitched up. I’ve got stitches in my top lip, I’ve got two black eyes.”

Noel says he bumped into the winning team’s manager Pep Gaurdiola following the incident, who asked what had happened to his face.

“As I’m going down the corridor Pep’s running up crying and we kind of hug each other and he says, ‘What’s up with your face?’ And I was like, ‘Go see the players, nothing to do with me’.

“And if you’ve seen me today, I look like I’ve just arrived home from the 80s, from Elland Road. I look like I’ve had my head smashed in. It’s unbelievable.

“A lot of City fans are asking, ‘You alright? What’s happened?’ And I said – ‘You’ll never guess!’”

Noel added that despite his own injuries, Rúben Dias’ dad came out of the exchange without a mark on him.

“He’s a big bear of a man – he almost knocked my teeth out.

“But as days go at the Etihad that’s got to be up there with the best.”
