Rosie O’Donnell Skewers ‘Deranged’ Trump After Wild Threat

Rosie O’Donnell has hit back at Donald Trump after the president reignited his longtime feud with the comedian by threatening to revoke her US citizenship again.

“He’s like a cornered rat and he doesn’t know where to go or what to do,” said O’Donnell on “The Jim Acosta Show.”

“So he goes into his bag of tricks and one of his tricks is, ‘Let’s make fun of Rosie O’Donnell and threaten her,’ even though he’s threatened me before and never done anything.”

Moments earlier, O’Donnell — who now lives in Ireland, having moved there in January — accused Trump of using the post about her to distract Americans from his administration’s handling of the so-called Jeffrey Epstein files.

“It’s unbelievable how obvious he is about everything that he does,” she explained, noting that the post — which Trump shared alongside a wonky distorted photo of her — occurred hours after victims of the late convicted sex offender spoke on Capitol Hill.

“Could you say I’m guilty without saying I’m guilty more than having a flyover during their press conference? As if he’s going to hold the tide?” she said.

O’Donnell — who said that the “time is up” for Trump and “he knows it” — claimed that the president has threatened to sue her for decades and to have “thugs” take away her wife.

“He is deranged,” O’Donnell stressed.

She later turned her attention back to the Epstein saga, declaring that America will not stand for someone like Trump — who was found liable for sexual abuse — dismissing the victims of Epstein.

“This makes Watergate look like a joke!” she said.

“This is unbelievable! And the fact he would say Rosie O’Donnell is not a good American, she never can be. Well, I don’t think you’re a good American if you did what you did, Donald Trump!”

On Friday, the president again dismissed the Epstein saga as a “Democrat HOAX” and claimed that the Justice Department “has done its job” on the matter amid a bipartisan push to force the House to vote on a bill that would require the DOJ to release the files in their entirety.

Rosie O’Donnell Fires Back After Donald Trump’s Unhinged Post Doubling Down On Citizenship Comments

Donald Trump has continued his decades-long feud with Rosie O’Donnell by once again threatening to revoke the comedian’s citizenship.

The president shared an altered photo of Rosie on his social media network, Truth Social, on Wednesday, in a post which included Trump’s trademark erratic capitalisation.

“As previously mentioned, we are giving serious thought to taking away Rosie O’Donnell’s Citizenship,” Trump told his followers.

“She is not a Great American and is, in my opinion, incapable of being so!” he added.

To escalate matters further, the president’s Truth Social post was then reposted by the White House’s official account on Instagram Thursday.

The White House account watermarked the post.

Rosie, who now resides in Ireland, immediately fired back with two posts on Instagram.

The Emmy winner reposted the doctored photo by Trump in her first post, and included some references to the award-winning drama Succession.

“Banishing me again? Logan Roy would be proud,” she said. “I’m the distraction – EPSTEIN SURVIVORS are the reckoning and your gold lamé throne is melting.”

In her second post, Rosie shared a selfie and once again invoked the convicted sex trafficker.

“Donnie – stripping my citizenship? Cute – the capital is shaking because Epstein survivors are speaking – I volunteer as tribute… to remind you how terrified you are,” she wrote, signing off her message with a kissing emoji.

Trump first threatened to take away Rosie’s citizenship in July, calling her a “threat to humanity”, hours after HuffPost UK published an interview with the former talk show host in which she spoke out against the US leader.

“Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,” he wrote at the time. “She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”

Paul A. Gowder, professor of law at Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law, previously told HuffPost that Trump’s citizenship threats are “unadulterated dictator behavior” and “a familiar practice of authoritarians”.

“He seems to view it not as an inalienable right but as a status that he can grant and take away at will, a meaningless instrument of his personal public policy,” Gowder said.

President Donald Trump is once again reviving his long-running feud with Rosie O’Donnell — this time with a baseless threat to revoke her citizenship.

In a Saturday post on Truth Social, Trump referred to the actor and comedian as a “threat to humanity,” citing her as someone who is not in “the best interest” of the country.

“Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,” he wrote. “She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”

Trump’s remarks appeared to be in response to a TikTok video O’Donnell posted on Friday, in which she criticized the Republican Party and the current political climate of the US.

“He is definitely in a decline, and if you can’t see that, I don’t know what to tell you,” she said.

The Emmy-winning actor later fired back with two Instagram posts addressing Trump’s threat. In the first, she took direct aim at the president.

“The president of the usa has always hated the fact that i see him for who he is – a criminal con man sexual abusing liar out to harm our nation to serve himself – this is why i moved to ireland,” she wrote. “he is a dangerous old soulless man with dementia who lacks empathy, compassion and basic humanity – i stand in direct opposition all he represents – so do millions of others – u gonna deport all who stand against ur evil tendencies – ur a bad joke who cant form a coherent sentence #nevertrump”

In a second post, O’Donnell referenced their decades-long public battle and added that she resides “rent-free in that collapsing brain” of his.

“you call me a threat to humanity –but I’m everything you fear:a loud womana queer womana mother who tells the truthan American who got out of the country b4 u set it ablaze you build walls –I build a life for my autistic kid in a country where decency still exists.”

O’Donnell first shared in March that she had relocated to Ireland on Jan. 15, calling the decision “pretty wonderful.”

“I miss many things about life there at home and I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country, and when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back,” she said.

The actor posted a throwback photo on Monday of herself and Madonna in a scene from A League Of Their Own, the 1992 comedy that sparked their three-decade friendship.

In the comments, fans asked to know how the Material Girl singer was faring. The pop icon’s manager, Guy Oseary, announced last week that she had been found unresponsive on June 24, leading to a several-day stay in an intensive care unit.

The 64-year-old had developed a “serious bacterial infection” but was expected to make a full recovery, Oseary said.

Responding to a concerned commenter, O’Donnell wrote, “She’s good,” alongside a heart emoji.

“She is recovering at home. She is very strong in general,” she wrote in another comment.

Actor Debi Mazar, another friend, also shared a brief update about the singer last week.

“To all of her fans- Madonna is on the mend & home resting!” Mazar wrote on Instagram.

Madonna’s Celebration tour of North America and Europe ― which was scheduled to begin in mid-July ― has been postponed.
