Jack Osbourne Opens Up About The Moment He Learned Ozzy Had Died

Ozzy Osbourne’s youngest son Jack is opening up about the heartbreaking moment he learned his father had died.

The late rocker died of a heart attack at his home in Buckinghamshire, England, in July. Now, weeks later, Jack is sharing the personal story of how he found out about his father’s death in a video posted to his YouTube channel on Wednesday.

“It’s been six weeks since my father passed,” Jack recalled, after addressing concerns from his followers, which he admits “has not been” his “priority”.

He went on to share that his father passed around “10 o’ clock in the morning, U.K. time”. At the time, Jack was in Los Angeles, where he had been staying for “about a week” following his dad’s final performance.

On 5 July, Ozzy performed what would be his last show at Villa Park in Birmingham, England. Jack stayed behind with his family and children, calling it “an amazing week”.

“My family and I were scheduled to go on vacation on 7 July,” he then shared.

But their plans changed when all his kids came down with a stomach virus that Jack describes as “really gross”. The illness forced the family to postpone their trip – giving Jack unexpected, treasured time with his father. He shared that during that week, Ozzy had been in good spirits on a daily basis.

Looking back, he jokingly said he was “so grateful” his kids had the stomach flu.

After leaving on 13 July, he received the news. “I woke up in Los Angeles to a knock on my house door at around 3:45 in the morning [from] someone who has worked for my family for God [about] 30 years now was knocking on my door,” Jack recalled.

Once he realised who it was, he said he “knew something bad had happened,” and he was soon informed his dad had died. What followed was a wave of “sadness” and “pain”.

Jack said he “wishes” Ozzy was still here, but finds comfort in knowing that he’s no longer “suffering anymore.”

“No one expected it to happen as quickly as it did and when it did,” Jack said.

Sabrina Carpenter has revealed how her public break-up inspired her latest album Man’s Best Friend.

In early 2024, it was revealed that the Grammy winner was dating the actor Barry Keoghan, until it was reported towards the end of last year that they had parted ways.

During a new interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, Sabrina spoke cryptically about the “intention” behind her latest release, while alluding to her recent split.

“I think I came out of a sad situation, a lot less bitter than I intended or expected to,” the Espresso singer began. “With a little bit more of the like, ‘you know what? There’s two people involved and this is part of growing up’.”

She continued: “I don’t want to be enemies with people that I loved. I loved them. I think obviously it depends on what happens and what goes down and how much you feel like you can truly trust that person.

“But I feel like it is one of those situations where even the album starting with ‘Oh, boy’ was sort of an eye roll to yourself being like, ‘here we go again’. And I think that that’s something that feels very reflective of this time in my life where you don’t really have a lot of time to sort of mope and weep.

“You kind of just got to get back out there – not even in a dating way, not even in a romantic way – just get back out there in terms of, if you’re staying inside and you’re thinking about how everything’s going wrong, everything’s going to go wrong and you’re going to be inside. But a lot of life is truly happening out there.

“So it’s that switching on that mindset of being like, ‘you know what? Just because you deal with something that’s difficult and maybe really hurts you, doesn’t mean that you’re damaged, doesn’t mean you can’t do it again, doesn’t mean you can’t open yourself up’. And I think this one was a newer heartbreak experience for me.”

Sabrina’s fans immediately thought of the Saltburn star earlier this year when it was announced that the lead single from Man’s Best Friend would be titled Manchild (which went on to become her fourth UK number one single).

During an interview which aired on CBS Mornings last week, anchor Gayle King brought up the online “backlash” that Barry had been subjected to because of Sabrina’s “very loyal” fans, to which she responded: “Correct.”

“You know what’s funny? I feel pretty transparent going into any of my relationships, that I write songs. And I think they’re just as down for it,” she insisted, when asked if she felt bad for the online abuse levelled at her ex.

“I think also most of the time, [my exes have been] pretty flattered when they get a song written about them, good or bad.”

Sabrina then insisted: “I think they’re just excited to get a shout-out. I’m not scared of men in that sense. I am scared of men sometimes, but I’m not scared in that sense.

“I think I will attract exactly who I’m supposed to attract.”

During their relationship, Sabrina and Barry made several public appearances together, including when he co-starred in her Please Please Please music video.

In the days after their split was made public, the Oscar-nominated actor announced he was taking a step back from social media due to hateful comments that were being posted on his accounts, specifically about his appearance, upbringing and skills as a father.

Taylor Swift’s new fiancé Travis Kelce has spoken out for the first time since the couple shared that they are engaged.

Last week, the pair announced their relationship update in a joint Instagram post that showed the NFL star getting down on his knees in front of the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, surrounded by flowers.

After his engagement made headlines the world over, Travis has now spoken out for the first time since going public with the news in the latest episode of his podcast New Heights, which he co-presents with his brother Jason Kelce.

In a teaser clip shared online on Wednesday, Travis said: “I appreciate everybody who’s reached out and said something, and all the posts, and all the excitement that’s been going on.”

He added: “It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with.”

It’s expected that Travis and Jason will discuss the engagement further elsewhere in the upcoming episode of New Heights, which will begin streaming later on Wednesday.

Taylor and Travis first began dating in the summer of 2023, after he admitted to having a crush on her on his podcast, and they were subsequently pictured together for the first time after one of his team’s games that September.

“We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” she later told Time magazine. “By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard-launch a first date.”

Taylor is currently gearing up for the release of her 12th album The Life Of A Showgirl, which is rumoured to have been inspired by her life on the road for her mammoth Eras Tour, and features a duet with woman of the hour Sabrina Carpenter.

Bruce Willis’ Wife Admits Moving The Actor Was One Of The ‘Hardest Decisions’ She’s Ever Made

Bruce Willis is living in a second, “safer” home away from his wife and kids to be with his caregivers 24/7, his wife told US broadcaster Diane Sawyer in a recent interview.

“It was one of the hardest decisions that I’ve had to make so far,” Emma Heming Willis said during the interview. “But I knew first and foremost, Bruce would want that for our daughters. He would want them to be in a home that was more tailored to their needs, not his needs.”

Bruce and Emma share daughters Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11, while he and his ex-wife, fellow actor Demi Moore, share daughters Rumer, 37, Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 31.

In 2022, Bruce’s family, including Demi, issued a joint statement announcing that he was living with aphasia, which affects one’s ability to communicate, and that he would retire from acting.

The next year, the family said Bruce had been diagnosed with dementia. In the ABC News special with Diane Sawyer, Emma gave an inside look at her husband’s experience with the disease, saying she moved him into a “safer” one-story home so he could be with his caregivers all the time.

She said she visits him at the second home every morning for breakfast and every night.

“It is a house that is filled with love and warmth and care and laughter,” Emma said.

Bruce has frontotemporal dementia, which causes a person to lose their words. The 70-year-old is still walking and seemingly unaware of his diagnosis, his wife said.

She claimed: “Bruce is in really great health overall. It’s just his brain that is failing him.

“The language is going, and we’ve learned to adapt. And we have a way of communicating with him, which is just a different way.”

Emma said that she first started noticing a difference in Bruce when he became quieter and would “melt a little bit” when the family got together.

She said he stopped wanting to take their two daughters to school, and then his childhood stutter returned. Emma said she had found the experience “alarming and scary”.

When doctors diagnosed Bruce with frontotemporal dementia a few years ago and told Emma there was no cure, she was “panicked.”

“I just remember hearing it and just not hearing anything else,” she said.

She shared that she now struggles to remember what the actor was like before his diagnosis.

“It’s also even really hard for me today to go back in time to remember even the fun, because I’m so caught up in today, of what today looks like and walking this journey with him today, that I can’t remember,” she said. “I just have a really hard time remembering who he was.”

But she said she still sees moments of the old Bruce.

“It’s his laugh, right? Like, he has such a hearty laugh,” she said. “And, you know, sometimes you’ll see that twinkle in his eye, or that smirk, and, you know, I just get transported.”

Emma wrote the book The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope And Yourself On The Caregiving Path about caring for Bruce, which she said she hopes can give other caregivers a roadmap.

Eminem wanted MAGA to snap back to reality years ago – but defectors have been slim despite their leader being shady.

And this may be precisely why an old video of the rapper pointing out one of the most perplexing things about MAGA’s loyalty to Donald Trump has resurfaced on numerous social media platforms in the last few days.

In December 2017 – about a year into Trump’s first term – Complex asked Eminem, whose legal name is Marshall Mathers, what most bothers him “about America right now”.

“Obviously Trump,” the 8 Mile star responded.

After initially blurting out that answer, Eminem admitted he wasn’t quite “sure how” to articulate what was bothering him about some Americans’ relationship with the failed real estate mogul and former reality TV star, but he eventually found the words.

“It’s so bizarre watching him play to his base that thinks that he cares about them and it’s actually the people that he cares about the fucking least,” Eminem said.

He continued: “If you’re talking about his core being a majority white middle class people, what I don’t understand is how in the fuck do you feel like you relate to a billionaire who has never known struggle his entire fucking life?”

“Who dodged the draft because he had bone spurs in his fucking foot?” Eminem added after the above clip cuts out. “You feel like this is the guy that’s gonna fight for you? He’s already proven with the tax break that he’s not. That’s not benefiting the middle class. I will say this, he talks a good one.”

And although the Lose Yourself rapper expressed some optimism at the time about his base “shrinking” once MAGA got “woke” to “what the fuck is going on” — obviously they didn’t, since Trump was elected to a second term in 2024.

Considering that MAGA’s cognitive dissonance is still strong today, many folks shared the clip on X, Reddit and Facebook on Wednesday. Plenty of users agreed with the Detroit-born performer and shared their frustrations with other celebrities not speaking out.

Between his hit song Galway Girl, his clear affinity for traditional Irish music and his ability to “split the G” in a pint of Guinness, Ed Sheeran has made no secret of his appreciation for Irish culture over the years.

The Shape Of You singer opened up about his Irish roots while speaking on The Louis Theroux Podcast earlier in the summer, explaining how he sees himself as “culturally” Irish, despite being born in the UK.

“I class my culture as Irish. I think that’s what I grew up with,” he shared. “We’d spend all of our holidays in Ireland. My first musical experiences were in Ireland, I grew up with trad music in the house.

“So, I identify culturally as Irish, but I was obviously born and raised in Britain.”
