The Beckhams Put On A United Front To Support Victoria Beckham At Paris Fashion Week

The Beckham’s put on a united front on Friday to show their support for Victoria Beckham’s first ever Paris Fashion Week show.

The former Spice Girl-turned fashion designer debuted her latest collection in front of husband David Beckham, along with sons Romeo, 20, and Cruz, 17, and 11-year-old daughter Harper.

And despite unfounded rumours of a rift between Victoria and her eldest son Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz, the newlyweds were also on the front row.

There was also a nod to Victoria and David’s former habit of wearing (often questionable) outfits with Brooklyn and Nicola rocking up in coordinated ensembles of denim jeans, black tops and boots.

Also sitting in the front row were Vogue editors Anna Wintour and Edward Enniful.

Victoria captioned her Instagram post: “It’s Paris baby!! I’m so grateful for my family, @BritishVogue and @VogueMagazine for always supporting me on this journey xx VB”.

Brooklyn also shared the post to his Story, writing: “Congratulations mum on a great show”.

Meanwhile, David shared a behind-the-scenes snap on his Instagram Story of Victoria backstage, and congratulated his wife on her latest collection and show.

“16 years of hard work and we know how much today means to you. We are so proud,” he wrote.

US supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid both walked in the show and other guests included Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and model Poppy Delevingne.

Describing her catwalk show, Victoria wrote: “Bold. Feminine. Delicate. Sexy. Those are the ideas I was thinking of for #VBSS23.

“It’s about embracing femininity and shifting between soft and hard, structured and fluid.

“Thank you so much to my incredible team and to these incredible VB women!!”

Nicola recently spoke out about the false stories that there is any bad blood between her and her famous mum-in-law, after she chose to wear a Valentino dress to her wedding earlier this year.

She told Grazia: “When I read things that say [things like] I was never planning on wearing a [Victoria Beckham] dress or things like that, it does hurt my feelings. I try not to let it, but it’s just not the truth. It’s just a bit of a bummer when you’re like, ‘Oh, people think that,’ but it’s just not true.”

The politician sat down with Rylan and Holly Willoughby on the ITV daytime show in June 2016, but writing in his new autobiography Ten, the former X Factor star alleged he was told that Johnson’s advisors felt he wasn’t “qualified enough” to do the interview.

Speaking about how he often faces snobbery around his interest in and commentary on politics, Rylan wrote (via Evening Standard): “In 2016 before the EU referendum, for example, I was due to interview Boris Johnson on This Morning.

“Then I found out he had threatened to pull out because his advisers heard that I was standing in for Phillip Schofield that day.

“Apparently they thought I wasn’t ‘qualified enough’ to ask him questions.

“Obviously, This Morning didn’t tell me this, and I’m sure it wasn’t Boris who said it, it was probably someone on his team, and I did eventually interview him, but how do they know if I’m qualified or not?”

HuffPost UK has contacted Boris Johnson’s team for comment and is awaiting a response.

Victoria Beckham Gets Saucy About David’s ‘Sticky Stuff’ In Cheeky TikTok

Victoria Beckham served up a side of innuendo to accompany husband David’s latest harvest of honey this weekend.

Posh got rather saucy in a video posted to her TikTok account showing Becks tending to his hives, becoming rather obsessed with his “sticky stuff”.

With her tongue firmly in her cheek, she told her 450k followers: “He’s about to release his sticky stuff… His new batch of sticky stuff.”

As David remarked on the batch of honey’s good “flowage”, Victoria said: “Look at his. It’s pouring out of that one.”

She then said she was “off to sample” said “sticky stuff”.

“I’ll let you know what David’s sticky stuff tastes like,” she added. “I’ll mark it out of 10 and let you know.”

In the comments, one fan wrote: “Victoria doesn’t get enough credit for how hilariously funny she is.”

Another added: “She’s so funny and they’re absolute ‘couple goals’.”

Of course, those who follow the Beckhams on social media will know that Posh and Becks regularly poke fun at one another in their videos.

There’s always some laughs guaranteed when Lewis Capaldi pops up on TV and his appearance on BBC Breakfast on Saturday proved to be no different, after what he called “a classic breakdown of communication”.

The Someone You Loved singer left hosts Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt speechless after mishearing a comment Naga made at the end of his interview on the show.

The X-rated moment came after Lewis had complimented Charlie on his “great hair”.

“Well you’ve got great hair too,” Charlie replied, before Lewis leaned in for a high-five.

Watching their blossoming bromance, Naga joked: “Would you like a room?”

“I thought you said rim!” Lewis said.

As Naga was left open-mouthed, laughter could be heard from behind the cameras.

“Jeez!” Charlie remarked.

Keen to quickly move things along, a smirking Naga joked she was going to “have a little word with Lewis” as she segued to a news bulletin.

Lewis had been on the show to promote his latest single Forget Me, which hit number one in the Official Chart last week.

James Corden Reflects On ‘Risky’ Decision To Quit The Late Late Show

James Corden has opened up about his decision to quit the The Late Late Show, saying it felt like “a greater risk to stay”.

The Gavin & Stacey star has hosted the US talk show since March 2015, but announced he was stepping down in April this year.

The presenter and actor has extended his contract with CBS to present the show for one more year before finishing in the summer of 2023.

Appearing on BBC Radio 4’s This Cultural Life, James was asked whether he worried his persona as a chat show host stops people seeing him as the kind of performer he would like to be.

He said: “Honestly, I don’t know. I guess we’re about to find out.

“Look, I’m aware that this isn’t a road often travelled. I’m aware that there’s not a plethora of people who have walked away from these late night talk shows, ever. I get why they wouldn’t walk away. It’s amazing.

“And for me really the reason to leave is the same as the reason to do it, which is, I wonder if this is possible.

“And if this is it then, do you know what, it’s been quite a ride anyway. I get that it will be difficult.”

Asked whether he felt it was a risk leaving the show, James replied: “No. I think it’s a greater risk to stay.

“There’s an amazing clip, in which David Bowie talks about never playing to the gallery.

“On the day of the announcement that I was going to walk away, it was still made very clear to me that there was a job here for the next five years and I’m not gonna lie, financially it’s good.”

James said he had watched the clip of Bowie repeatedly as a way of reassuring himself.

Asked whether he felt scared or anxious about the move, he added: “Of course, who wouldn’t.

“Like you say, you’re hoping that maybe there’s one more thing I’ve got to do. Maybe there’s one more adventure. You’ve got to jump, and it might take a minute.

“I’m pretty all right with the idea that I might have to get comfortable in some silence for a minute.

“By the time I finish, I’ll have done 1,235 shows. That is a lot of television.”

as a British host of a US late night show, James has enjoyed immense success with the programme which features scores of celebrity guests and special segments.

His popular Carpool Karaoke series, in which he drives to work with different musicians, singing their back catalogue over the radio and discussing their careers, has included Adele, Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande.

He previously promised viewers that his final 12 months would be full of fan favourites and “other surprises” which would be “a blast”.

James took over as presenter of The Late Late Show in 2015 from Scottish-born comedian Craig Ferguson, who spent 10 years as host.

This Cultural Life airs at 7.15pm on Saturday on BBC Radio 4 and on BBC Sounds.

Strictly Come Dancing Pairings Revealed: Which Professionals Have The Celebrities Been Partnered With?

The professional dancers who each of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing celebrities will be dancing with have been revealed.

On Friday night, the BBC aired the long-awaited Strictly 2022 launch show, during which viewers discovered the partnerships for the new series.

As part of the episode, it was announced that reigning champion Giovanni Pernice will be dancing with Radio 2 presenter Richie Anderson, while runner-up Johannes Radebe will dance with comedian Ellie Taylor.

It has also been revealed that, for the first time ever, there will be two same-sex pairings in the same season of Strictly, with stand-up comic Jayde Adams dancing with Karen Hauer.

This year’s Strictly launch show was pre-recorded before the death of Queen Elizabeth II, and was originally supposed to air the weekend prior to her funeral.

However, the BBC eventually made the decision to delay this by almost a week, with the first live show of the series set to air tomorrow night on BBC One.

Musician Adam Levine has spoken out to “clear the air”, following rumours that he was involved in a year-long romance with an Instagram model while married to his wife.

Earlier this week, internet personality Sumner Stroh claimed in a viral TikTok post that she’d previously been involved in “an affair with a man who’s married to a Victoria’s Secret model” for a year.

In the clip, she then shared screenshots of messages which she alleged were sent to her by the Maroon 5 frontman.

On Tuesday afternoon, Adam shared a statement on his personal Instagram, which read: “A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air.

“I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed a line during regrettable period in my life.

“In certain instances, it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.”

Adam has been married to model Behati Prinsloo since 2014. The pair have two daughters together, five-year-old Dusty Rose (who will turn six later this week) and four-year-old Geo Grace.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Adam and Behati were expecting their third child.

At the end of his Instagram statement, Adam concluded: “My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again.

Many of us have done stuff after one too many drinks that we’d rather forget about, so Victoria Beckham might want to look away now.

Melanie C has shared one particularly boozy memory from the Spice Girls’ early days that is the very definition of The Fear, for Victoria at least.

In her new autobiography, Who I Am, Mel recalls celebrating the day the girl group signed their record deal in the mid-90s when Victoria had one too many and ended up throwing her underwear out of a taxi window on the way to a posh London restaurant.

“By the time we arrived, the taxi was a wreck; there was lipstick, champagne and flowers all over it. Somehow, Victoria’s knickers ended up being chucked out of the window…” Mel writes.

Sporty Spice adds that their manager Simon Fuller had to pay the London cabbie £50 to cover the mess and the girls’ “terrible behaviour”.

Mel continued: “We steamed into this incredibly posh restaurant, stinking of booze and ciggies, and crashed onto the table. The other diners were not amused.

“By this point, Victoria was so drunk she pretty much fell asleep face down in her dinner. She was still knickerless!”

Mel, who was in the group alongside Victoria, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Mel B, also shared how Robbie Williams broke her heart after he “led” her on..

“Robbie did behave badly — he led me on and then abruptly dropped me at a time when I was incredibly vulnerable,” Mel revealed.

“I don’t have any bad feelings towards him now, but he did break my heart a bit. I was hurt and I was humiliated.

“It was somebody I had admired, and he pursued me and then treated me badly.”

Eddie Butler, ‘Iconic’ Voice Of Rugby, Dies Aged 65

Tributes have poured in to former Wales captain and “iconic” rugby commentator Eddie Butler, who has died aged 65.

The 16-cap Wales number eight died in his sleep on a charity trek on the Inca Trail in Peru.

Former England hooker and Butler’s BBC colleague Brian Moore offered a touching social media farewell.

“I am devastated by this news,” Moore tweeted.

“Ed, I’m sorry I never told you how much I admired you as a broadcaster and as a man. Well, it wasn’t like that between us, was it.

“Condolences to Sue and your family. Sport has lost an iconic voice.

“I have lost a very dear friend. Goodbye Edward.”

Butler rose to prominence with Pontypool in the 1970s, representing Wales between 1980 and 1984.

He toured New Zealand with the British and Irish Lions in 1983, before forging a highly respected career as a commentator and broadcaster.

His coverage of the Olympics – specifically his distinct voiceovers of montages of the games – developed cult status.

“The Prostate Cymru charity is devastated by the passing of its much loved ambassador Eddie Butler,” read a statement announcing the news.

“Eddie was the voice of Wales and we were honoured to have him as part of our charity. We will cherish the many memories we have of him.

“Over the last week Eddie once again showed his generosity and steadfast commitment to good causes by joining 25 Prostate Cymru fundraisers, including his daughter Nell, on the Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu.

“In the early hours of Thursday, September 15, Ed passed away peacefully in his sleep at Ecoinka base camp in the Peruvian Andes.

“He leaves behind his wife Susan and six children, who are very much in our thoughts.”

Butler represented Cambridge University from 1976 to 1978 while studying French and Spanish at Fitzwilliam College.

The imposing back-row forward made his Wales debut in the 18-9 win over France in January 1980.

After rugby Butler enjoyed a short stint as a teacher, then worked for a property development company – before finding another niche in broadcasting.

Butler moved on from stints with national newspapers to excel for the BBC in commentary on rugby, but also adding colour to major sporting events.

Former Wales international Sam Warburton said: “Stunned at the news and passing of Eddie Butler. Thoughts with his family.

“What an amazing contribution to rugby and broadcasting. A privilege to have played and co-commentated with his voice. RIP Eddie.”

Welsh Rugby Union chairman Rob Butcher insisted his country owed Butler a sizeable debt for his contribution to the sport.

“For many Eddie was the voice of Welsh rugby and he will be sorely missed by supporters around the globe as well as his friends throughout the game and here at the WRU,” said Butcher.

“He proudly represented his country as a player, was a mainstay in press boxes around the world long after he retired from the game and has been prolific in the way in which he has served Welsh rugby in both the written and spoken word over decades.

“Our thoughts and prayers go to his family, who we also know well and cherish, and his close friends and colleagues at this incredibly difficult time.

“He was a unique individual on the game in Wales owes him a debt of gratitude for his contributions both on and off the pitch.”

The BBC director general Tim Davie also paid tribute to a “wonderful wordsmith” who voiced some of rugby’s most vital moments.

“Everyone at BBC Sport is shocked and saddened by this very sad news,” said Davie.

“Eddie was a brilliantly gifted commentator, writer and reporter whose passion for the game of rugby union shone through every broadcast.

“A wonderful wordsmith with a rich, iconic voice, he provided the definitive soundtrack to some of the greatest moments in rugby’s history.

“He will be much missed by all of us, our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.”

TV presenter Monty Don also paid tribute to Butler.

“Shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the death of Eddie Butler,” he said. “I have known Eddie since he was a gangly 18 year old star player at University.

“A wonderful rugby player, became a superb commentator and a fine man.”

Daniel Craig has reflected on sharing the screen with Queen Elizabeth II during a comedy sketch as part of the 2012 Olympics.

To kick off the event’s Opening Ceremony that year, Daniel appeared in character as James Bond for a scene set at Buckingham Palace.

In the sketch, the late monarch briefly addressed 007 before the two were seen entering a helicopter, which flew over the stadium, ending with a stunt double of the Queen parachuting into the arena.

“What an incredible thing,” Daniel said of the sketch following the Queen’s death at the age of 96 earlier this week.

He told the BBC: “We will not see the likes of her ever again. To be alive during her reign is something else.

″[I feel] very saddened. I suppose good luck to Charles, really.”

Frank Cottrell-Boyce – who co-wrote the sketch, as well as a more recent one featuring the Queen and Paddington Bear – told Radio 4: “We went to the Palace asking for permission to represent her and to know what she was wearing on the day, and it was her amazing dresser who said ‘No, no, she wants to be in it.’ She was game and she was up for that.

“In fact on the day when we were filming, she asked Danny Boyle if she could have a line because there wasn’t a line in the script, probably because when I was typing the script I didn’t quite know how you would type the character of the Queen… What would you type?”

Earlier this year, Daniel told US talk show host Stephen Colbert about a “very funny” joke the Queen cracked at his expense, recalling: “We were having our photograph taken, and she just went, ‘Oh no, he’s the one that doesn’t smile’.”

Of her corgis, who also appeared in the scene, Daniel added: “I was rolling around on the floor with them most of the time. I mean, they’re just there. I think they have their own footmen. They’re very friendly.”

Following the announcement of Queen Elizabeth II’s death on Thursday evening, tributes immediately began pouring in from world leaders and key figures from the world of British entertainment.

Among those to have since paid their respect include David and Victoria Beckham Sir Paul McCartney , Dame Helen Mirren, who famously won an Oscar for her performance in the film The Queen, and Sir David Attenborough.

The Queen’s eldest son Charles, who became King upon the death of his mother, also said during a national address on Friday: “To my darling Mama, as you begin your last great journey to join my dear late Papa, I want simply to say this: thank you.

“Thank you for your love and devotion to our family and to the family of nations you have served so diligently all these years. May ‘flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest’.”
