Kerry Washington Posts Wrong Scandal Bae In Hilarious Birthday Post: ‘Whoops’

Kerry Washington celebrated her former co-star Scott Foley on his birthday by reminding fans of their very scandalous on-screen love triangle involving Tony Goldwyn

The award-winning star, who famously played Olivia Pope in Scandal, posted a fun selfie on Instagram on Thursday of herself pictured with Tony, who played one of her love interests, Fitzgerald Grant III.

However, the caption of the post was dedicated to Scott, who played Jake Ballard, another character romantically involved with Olivia Pope.

“Happy birthday @scottkfoley!!!!” she wrote. “Miss seeing this gorg face every day. Hope you have an amazing birthday.”

Kerry’s Instagram followers, including Scott himself, quickly took notice. He commented on Washington’s post to clear things up.

“This is not me,” he wrote.

She then made amends by posting another photo that showed her making a punching gesture at Scott.

“WHOOPS wrong TV bae,” she joked. “I really do miss seeing your face (even when I’m fake punching it) every day.”

Fans of the show got a kick out of the mix-up, including Scott’s real-life love, his wife, actor Marika Domińczyk.

“Queen,” she wrote in the comments section of Kerry’s picture with Goldwyn.

Scandal wrapped up its final season in April 2018 after seven seasons. Kerry told ABC News in 2018 that she’d found it “really hard to say goodbye” when the show ended.

Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean Says Last Heartbreaking Interaction He Had With Britney Spears ‘Wasn’t Her’

The Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean is speaking out in support of Britney Spears, slamming her conservatorship as “insane” and revealing the moment he last saw her that broke his heart.

In an interview this week with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM alongside fellow BSB member Nick Carter, AJ called the conservatorship that’s been controlling Britney’s life and finances since 2008 “asinine,” “insane” and “completely brutal.”

Britney recently spoke out on her own behalf for the first time since 2019, telling a court during a hearing last month that the conservatorship was doing her more harm than good and asked that it end.

During an emotional 20-minute speech, Britney explained how the conservatorship had such a grip on her life that her conservators wouldn’t allow her to remove her IUD so she could have a child with boyfriend Sam Asghari.

Addressing that specific issue, AJ says that “really irks him.”

“That, to me, is physical abuse. Just the whole thing to me is just, it’s grotesque. I pray for her. I really feel in my heart that she’s going to break free of all of this, and I really hope that she does. She’s a sweetheart,” he said, before adding that the pop sensation is “pretty much” his neighbour.

The 43-year-old went on to say that he sees Britney out and about often because they go to the same shopping centre in Los Angeles.

“There’s this amazing cupcake shop that she goes to that I go to,” he said. “The last time I saw her, it broke my heart. Last time I saw her, she was with a gentleman. I’m assuming it was security and/or maybe a driver.”

AJ explained that he was buying cupcakes for a birthday party for one of his daughter’s friends when he spotted Britney: “I went in, she was there, she looked right at me and I was like, ‘Hey, it’s AJ.’ And she just kind of had this glass face. Like, she just didn’t know who was there. It took her a minute. And then she realised it was me, and we hugged and we talked for a brief moment, but I could just see that this wasn’t her. Like, I’m not looking at the person I knew from years and years ago.”

He added that he doesn’t think the conservatorship is “fair” or “right,” and added: “Free Britney!”

Previously, AJ has been vocal about backing Britney and showing support for her on various forms of social media. On TikTok, AJ told fans, “This shit has gone on long enough! Let my girl live her life And be free to be who she is!”

Sex/Life’s Sarah Shahi Weighs In On Divisive Ending To Netflix’s Raunchiest Show

Warning! This article contains major Sex/Life spoilers.

Sex/Life star Sarah Shahi has weighed in on the show’s divisive finale, admitting she didn’t see the ending coming.

The eighth episode of the saucy Netflix series sees Billie embark on an affair with her ex Brad after months of fantasising about the wild sex life they used to have.

Sarah, who plays Billie, said she was surprised to see her character betray her husband Cooper – something that has divided viewers.

Speaking to E! News, she said: “My jaw was to the ground pretty much at the end of every episode. But, I definitely didn’t expect for it to go there because, you know, you keep hearing Billie over and over again, and she says, ‘I love my husband.’”

Responding to some accusations that Billie’s decision is selfish, Sarah continued: “She’s not ignoring her children, she’s not ignoring the needs of her husband. There is just a part of her that’s missing, and she’s really struggling trying to feel it again.”

Admitting she loved the finale, Sarah added: “For me, what it comes down to is having the guts to say I want more and going after that. And that doesn’t make you a bad parent to want that. You can still be a wife and a mom and be a sexual goddess at the same time.”

The love triangle between Brad, Billie and Cooper is central to Sex/Life

While a second series has not yet been confirmed, Sarah – who is in a real-life relationship with Adam Demos, who plays her on-screen lover Brad – said that if Sex/Life does return, fans should expect “the fantasy will continue in some way or another, because it sure is fun to watch”.

The raunchy US dramedy has risen to the top of Netflix’s most-watched chart since its release last month, and has taken the internet by storm – part in thanks to a gasp-inducing full-frontal scene in the third episode.

Sex/Life is available to stream on Netflix now.

Eamonn Holmes Presses Sex/Life Author For The Truth About *That* Shower Scene

Anyone who has seen Sex/Life seems to have one big question after watching it, and it seems Eamonn Holmes is no different.

The This Morning host pressed the author behind the hit Netflix series for the truth about *that* moment from episode three, as BB Easton appeared on the ITV daytime show on Wednesday.

Sex/Life the tells the story of a married woman called Billie who fantasises about the wild sex life she used to have with her ex-boyfriend Brad, and is based on BB’s self-published book 44 Chapters About 4 Men inspired by her own life experiences.

The third episode features a gasp-inducing full-frontal scene whereby Billie’s husband Cooper cops an eyeful of his love rival’s (rather large) appendage in the gym showers.

Addressing the moment during the interview, Eamonn was keen to know if it really belonged to actor Adam Demos.

Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes interviewed BB Easton on This Morning

He began: “There’s a lot of the country who have seen an extract from the Netflix series because we have a terrestrial show called Gogglebox here and it reviews programmes and it showed a clip of a man in a shower and honestly it frightened everybody who looked at it, really.

“And I looked at this and I thought ’that is an actor who wasn’t hired for his acting ability and obviously for the size of his appendage, really, which was scary.”

Eamonn’s wife and co-host Ruth Langsford agreed, admitting it was “quite large”.

“Did he exist?” Eamonn asked, before BB asked him to clarify whether he was asking if the character was one of her exes or if the actor “really possessed that”.

Eamonn replied: “It looked to me as if he really possessed it.”

BB then said: “I will neither confirm nor deny what you saw in episode three because, for selfish reasons, I am enjoying the speculation so much – the TikTok viral videos, Gogglebox – so I’m going to keep this going for myself because it’s been a lot of fun to watch everybody.”

“Good for you,” Ruth said.

That Sex/Life shower scene has got the whole internet talking

Sex/Life showrunner Stacy Rukeyser recently weighed in on speculation that Adam used a body double or a prosthetic for the scene that has got the whole internet talking.

She told Collider: “That’s not a body double. I mean, people usually ask is it real or is it a prosthetic?

“And I can tell you what Adam Demos says about it, which is, a gentleman never tells. So, we are leaving that up to the viewer’s imagination.”

Adam himself told Entertainment Weekly of the scene: “I was okay with it because you read the script and know what you’re getting yourself into from the start, so I don’t think you would sign on to a show after reading the scripts and then say no last minute.

“That doesn’t mean you can’t have discussions about comfort level, which they allowed us to have – and with the intimacy coordinator, so it felt a lot safer.”

Sex/Life is available to stream on Netflix now. This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.

England Team Receive Video Call From Tom Cruise – But Gareth Southgate Misses It For The Best Reason

Tom Cruise had a FaceTime call with the England team ahead their historic match at the Euro 2020 final, captain Harry Kane has revealed.

The Mission Impossible star wished the Three Lions good luck ahead of taking on Italy at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5Live, Harry revealed: “Obviously we have had ex-players and people get in touch.

“We actually had Tom Cruise get in touch yesterday evening, you get everyone who loves football.

Players of England pose for a team photograph prior to the UEFA Euro 2020 Championship semi-final

“The majority of people in the world love football, so it’s great to have all that support not just in England but across the world, so it’s been a great time for all of us.

“We’ve enjoyed every moment of it so we’re just looking forward to hopefully finishing the job.”

Harry continued: “We were fortunate enough to have a watch of one of his films so I think he was over here in the UK and he just dialled in and FaceTimed us just to wish us the best as a group so that was nice of him.

“I’m not sure if he will be there at the final or not but football is such a big part of the world and it’s nice to have that support from all different types of businesses I guess.”

Manager Gareth Southgate missed out on the call, however, as he was too busy watching videos of the opposition ahead of the final.

The Independent quotes him as saying: “They had a preview of a film that’s due out further down the line and they had Tom dial in to speak to them which was, I would imagine, quite surreal.

“I was in a meeting watching videos of Italy but that’s another story.

“I think they all thoroughly enjoyed that experience and, yeah, they’ve had a good week, really. Ed Sheeran (who performed a private gig earlier in the tournament), Tom Cruise – the life of an England footballer.”

Bruno Tonioli ‘Sad And Frustrated’ At Strictly Come Dancing Exit As He Gives Verdict On Replacement Anton Du Beke

Bruno Tonioli has said he is “sad and frustrated” not to be returning to Strictly Come Dancing this year.

The long-standing judge is unable to be part of the upcoming series due to restrictions preventing him from travelling to and from the US, where he judges Dancing With The Stars.

Bruno also admitted he wasn’t surprised to hear Anton Du Beke would be stepping in to replace him on the panel of the BBC ballroom show.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: “I am so sad and frustrated, but there is nothing anyone can do.

“Anton was the obvious choice to replace me.

“I was never asked my opinion, but I wasn’t surprised. He was desperate to get that judging role, so I’m sure he is delighted.”

Joking that Anton “needs the money”, Bruno also said that he will not be watching him on the panel as it “would not be fair”.

He said: “It’d be weird, like watching an ex with someone new — you just get on with it honey.

“It’ll do me no good as people will ask me what I think and I don’t want to stick my nose in when I’m not part of it. I think it’s very naff.”

Bruno also said he could still return to Strictly next year, should he be invited back.

“It’s totally up to them. If there’s no Covid and they want me, I’ll be back,” he said. “But they may say, ‘Anton was great, we don’t need you’.

“I’ll do something else. It’s like James Bond actors, I’ve done my stint. You cannot be desperate, if you start down that path you’ll go insane. I won’t be second best.”

Anton has made no secret of his hopes to join the judging panel in the past, having previously auditioned for the role of head judge prior to Shirley Ballas’ appointment.

Last year, he sat at the panel for the first time for two weeks, while Motsi Mabuse was unable to fulfil her usual judging role.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One in the autumn.

The Celebrity Goggleboxers’ Reactions To That Sex/Life Shower Scene Were Absolutely Priceless

It’s the show with the shower scene that’s got the whole internet flustered, so it was only right that the Celebrity Gogglebox gang had to give their verdict on Sex/Life on Friday.

And it’s fair to say their reactions were priceless.

For those who haven’t seen it, the Netflix series the tells the story of a married woman called Billie who fantasises about the wild sex life she used to have with her ex-boyfriend Brad.

The third episode features a gasp-inducing full-frontal scene whereby Billie’s husband Cooper cops an eyeful of his love rival’s (rather large) appendage in the gym showers.

That Sex/Life shower scene saw character Brad go full frontal, and it was quite the sight

As the Goggleboxers sat down to watch it, it was clear to see they were even more shocked than Cooper…

There were plenty of gasps and screams from the likes of Denise Van Outen, Eddie Boxshall, Martine McCutcheon, Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher

“Jesus Christ! It’s like a salami,” Nick Grimshaw commented.

“Is that real?!” Martin Kemp questioned (although Sex/Life’s showrunner has previously tried to answer this question).

Jonathan Ross joked: “He needs to accept the fact he can’t compete with Brad. You can’t compete with that. Go home, pack your shirts, fuck off… Look, it’s got it’s own postcode!”

“It can’t be real,” Micah insisted. “That’s an add on, that.”

“Can you get add ons?” Jamie asked, prompting much laughter.

The Celebrity Goggleboxers watched *that* Sex/Life scene

Sadly, one pair’s reactions who we didn’t get to see was Maureen Lipman and Gyles Brandreth’s.

Maureen previously revealed she’d walked out of filming while having to watch another show with full-frontal nudity for Gogglebox

She told Radio Times of how she’d left the room when Naked Attraction came on because “life is too short to watch a series of hopeless men dangle their bits and pieces in my direction”.

She said: “I’d seen Gogglebox and I thought: ’Oh, [ours] is the grown-up version, is it? I’m going to go on, and make a lot of comments now about the oeuvre and ‘I did like his first trilogy’…. But it’s your reaction to 12 dangling willies they want.

“They’re searching for ways to make me go: ‘Urgh!’ So I thought: ‘Well, actually, no, life is too short to watch a series of hopeless men dangle their bits and pieces in my direction. So I’m going.’”

Celebrity Gogglebox airs Fridays at 9pm on Channel 4. Sex/Life is streaming on Netflix now.

Gary Lineker has begged England fans not to boo the Italian national anthem during Sunday’s Euro 2020 final.

England fans at Wembley came in for criticism after the team’s historic 2-1 win against Denmark during Wednesday’s semi final, when they booed the Danish anthem.

In a post on Twitter, he wrote: “If you’re lucky enough to get a ticket for the final, please, please don’t boo the Italian anthem.”

He explained: “A/ It’s an absolute belter and worth listening to. B/ It’s bloody rude, disrespectful and utterly classless.”

UEFA charged England over the boos in the stadium on Wednesday, while disciplinary proceedings were opened over England fans letting off flares inside the venue.

England were also charged after a laser was shown in Denmark’s goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel’s eyes before Kane struck his spot-kick.

According to Eurosport, the Three Lions are likely to be hit with fines for the offences.

Meanwhile David Beckham, Adele and Dua Lipa were among the famous faces celebrating England’s historic win on Wednesday.

Emma Willis Reveals Her Strictly Come Dancing Dreams And We Are Absolutely Here For It

As Strictly Come Dancing bosses finalise this year’s line-up, they may want to consider approaching Emma Willis if they have not already.

The former Big Brother presenter has admitted she would take part in the BBC ballroom show “in a heartbeat”.

Maya Jama is one of the stars rumoured for Strictly this year

One person who won’t be joining the line up though is Joe Wicks – and the Body Coach’s reason for “definitely not” ever appearing isn’t exactly the healthiest of excuses.

Speaking to Radio Times, he said: “Publicly dancing on a dance floor, out there and exposed on my own, is my worst fear,” he explains.

“I can only ever really have a dance when I’ve had a drink, so to do Strictly I’d have to be steaming.”
