Piers Morgan’s Wife Admits She Used To ‘Bitch’ About Him With Susanna Reid Behind His Back

Piers Morgan’s wife Celia Walden has admitted that she used to “bitch” about her husband with his former Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid.

Celia also revealed that she thinks Susanna – who was often described as Piers’ ‘long-suffering on-screen wife’ – did “the whole wife thing” better than her because she knew how to “manage” the divisive presenter.

Speaking to The Sun, Celia revealed: “We used to bitch about him behind his back together. In fact, I always felt she was better at the whole ‘wife’ thing than me. She was very good at managing him.”

Celia, who married Piers in 2010, also revealed what it was like living with Piers since he was axed from his job on GMB.

“Well, I always think of that famous quote, ‘Behind every great man, there’s a woman rolling her eyes’ — I am that woman,” she said.

“Being married to Piers is basically one very long eye roll. But what people don’t realise about Piers is that he’s usually very quiet at home because he’s exhausted himself on whatever interview he’s been doing.

“This is the only reason I am sad about him leaving GMB — well, that and the fact I wake up and there he is, staring back at me morning after morning.

“But really, he used to come back and by 9am was absolutely flattened, lying there on the sofa, catatonic, not bothering anyone.”

She added: “Unfortunately he’s got all his energy back now. Please, someone, just give him a job!

“But what’s extraordinary is that before it really was that Marmite thing with him — a split between those who loved or loathed him.

“But recently the attention has been 99.9 per cent positive. It’s been like walking around with a national treasure. Very odd.”

Peter Andre Inadvertently Sends Boris Johnson A Very Rude Message After Wedding To Carrie Symonds

Boris Johnson was met with many messages of congratulations after marrying Carrie Symonds in a private ceremony over the weekend, but Peter Andre accidentally had fans laughing after sending his good wishes to the prime minister.

The Mysterious Girl singer inadvertently made a joke about a sex act as he posted about the Johnsons’ nuptials on Instagram.

Sharing an image of the couple of their wedding day, Peter learned an valuable lesson about the placement of commas as he wrote: “Enjoy your wedding BJ.”

He later added: “Probs said that wrong 😑.”

“Unfortunate use of words,” one of his followers commented with some laughing emojis.

“SCREAMING,” another wrote.

“Oops that’s a blooper Peter what were you thinking or not thinking LOL,” a third added.

The couple tied the knot at Westminster Cathedral on Saturday afternoon, with a small group of their friends and family present for the ceremony.

Reports of the wedding began circulating on Saturday, with a Downing Strret spokesperson confirming the following morning: “The Prime Minister and Ms Symonds were married yesterday afternoon in a small ceremony at Westminster Cathedral.

“The couple will celebrate their wedding with family and friends next summer.”

PA has reported that the celebration will take place in July 2022, with Symonds set to take on her new husband’s surname, being known as Carrie Johnson as of Saturday.

This is the first marriage for Carrie Johnson, while it is the prime minister’s third.

He was previously married to the artist and journalist Allegra Mostyn-Owen between 1987 and 1993, and the barrister and journalist Marina Wheeler.

Johnson and Wheeler’s divorce was finalised in 2020.

Jamie Oliver Reveals He Still Receives Public Abuse Over Turkey Twizzlers Ban

Jamie Oliver has revealed he continues to receive abuse from members of the public after he worked to have Turkey twizzlers banned over 15 years ago.

In 2005, the celebrity chef launched a campaign to improve the quality of food being served in UK schools, with Bernard Matthews’ Turkey twizzlers among the items he wanted scrapped from school menus.

Not everyone was happy with the move, and in a new interview with the podcast 12 Questions, he disclosed that some disgruntled fans of the offending turkey treats continue to abuse him on a regular basis.

Recalling a recent trip to the zoo, Jamie said: “[I was] with my kids and, you know, two metres away, [someone said] ‘that’s Jamie Oliver over there’ and the girl goes: ‘Yeah, I don’t like him, he’s a fucking arsehole’.

“And my kids are right next to me and hearing it as well, it’s a metre and a half away.”

He continued: “As I walk away, she goes to me ‘have you tried those new turkey twizzlers?’ and I went ‘no, I haven’t,’ and she goes: ‘Well, they’re horrible!’

“I said: ‘You probably wouldn’t like the original ones, then.’ And she goes: ‘No I did, and you took them, you stole them away from me’.”

Jamie added that when he used to tour schools, he would be spat at by those unhappy with his campaigning.

“When I was walking around schools as a 28-year-old, I was getting so much abuse,” he admitted.

“I had so much DNA on my back every day when I got home. It was proper filth.”

Jamie’s work at this time was initially captured in the documentary Jamie’s School Dinners, after which he launched the Feed Me Better campaign.

Turkey twizzlers were reintroduced in 2020, with an apparently “healthier” recipe, which included no E numbers and around a 67% meat content.

James Newman Was Contacted By One Of Music’s Biggest Stars After Eurovision Disappointment

James Newman may suffered crushing disappointment at this year’s Eurovision, but it seems his consolation prize wasn’t too bad.

The Embers singer has revealed he received a call of support from none other than Coldplay’s Chris Martin after picking up the dreaded “nul points” at Saturday’s Song Contest.

Speaking to Radio 1′s Newsbeat, James said Chris FaceTimed him on Monday morning to give him some words of encouragement.

“He told me to not take the result personally, said I was amazing and told me to keep my chin up,” James revealed.

“I’ve grown up listening to him, he’s an amazing songwriter so it made me feel so much better.”

In the interview, James also stood by his Eurovision performance, saying he “couldn’t have done any better”.

“The dancers nailed it every time and I think it looked great,” he insisted.

Chris Martin contacted James after Saturday’s disappointing Eurovision result

The United Kingdom languished at the bottom of the leaderboard as Italy romped to victory during Saturday’s event.

James scored zero points from the jury vote and from the public vote and was the only entry to do so poorly.

The last time the UK scored “nul points” was in 2003, when Jemini infamously picked up nothing for their rendition of Cry Baby.

James had previously broken his silence on Saturday’s result, insisting he is focusing “on the positives of this amazing experience” instead.

In a lengthy statement on social media, James wrote: “I want to focus on the positives of this amazing experience. I stood on a stage and sang to hundreds of millions of people with a song that I wrote and love.”

He added: “The thing about writing songs is that there is no guarantee that a song you think will connect with people, will connect with an audience.”

In a TikTok interview, Perrie said: “We were on a work Zoom and we were chatting about things that were coming up in our schedule because in Little Mix we are blocked out two years in advance.

“I was thinking, ‘I won’t be able to do that’.

“I messaged my manager and she called me and said, ‘You’re pregnant’.

“I was like, ’How do you know? And she said, ‘Because I am pregnant’. Then she said, ‘Can I add someone to the call?’”

Perrie continued: “I just heard this voice that said, ‘Perrie! You too!’ And then we just cried our eyes out. We couldn’t believe it.

“What timing! It wasn’t planned.”

Leigh-Anne was first to publicly announce she was pregnant with fiancé Andre Gray on 4 May.

The couple said they couldn’t “believe the dream is finally coming true” as they shared pictures from a stunning pregnancy photoshoot on the band’s Twitter account.

Pink Wishes She’d ‘Reached Out’ To Support Britney Spears Over The Years

Pink has reflected on rising to fame alongside Britney Spears in the late 1990s, saying she wished she’d helped out her pop contemporary when she was struggling.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the three-time Grammy winner was asked about Framing Britney Spears, the controversial New York Times documentary about Britney’s personal life.

“I love Britney, and here’s the thing about all of us voyeurs — none of us know what’s going on,” Pink said. “We’re not there. And I would like to. I think we all would like to, and we feel this fierce protectiveness over her, for good reason — she’s a sweetheart. All I know is she’s incredibly sweet, and I want her to be happy.”

The singer told host Andy Cohen that watching the documentary made her wish she’d “reached out more” to Britney, who is engaged in a legal battle with her father over a court-ordered conservatorship that limits her authority over her own finances.

“I don’t like feeling helpless or powerless, and I can only imagine how she feels,” she said. “She could have used some support. The media tore her apart, and the paparazzi are scum. I wish I could’ve reached out and gave her a hug.”

Earlier this month, Spears blasted the scrutiny over her private life that Framing Britney Spears had ignited.

“These documentaries are so hypocritical,” she wrote on Instagram. “I don’t know y’all but I’m thrilled to remind you all that although I’ve had some pretty tough times in my life … I’ve had waaaayyyy more amazing times in my life and unfortunately my friends … I think the world is more interested in the negative.”

This week, Pink unveiled her own documentary, All I Know So Far. The film takes a behind-the-scenes look look at her Beautiful Trauma World Tour in the style of Madonna’s Truth or Dare and Beyoncé’s Homecoming

Pink also opened up about turning down the chance to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in 2019. Maroon 5 accepted the gig instead, delivering a widelypanned performance with rappers Big Boi and Travis Scott as guests.

Pink didn’t single out Maroon 5 specifically, but hinted that the criticism the band and other artists have received after performing at halftime – as well as her support of the Black Lives Matter movement – factored into her decision.

“I would have a lot of fun doing it and it would be great, but I feel like nobody can win at that anymore,” she said. “It seems like anybody that does that halftime show, people just pick them apart.

“Also, I would probably take a knee, and people would be upset,” she added.

Billy Porter Opens Up About Living With HIV For Past 14 Years

Billy Porter has spoken for the first time about living with HIV for the past 14 years.

In a piece for The Hollywood Reporter, the Pose actor opened up about receiving the diagnosis in 2007, saying he has been “living it and being in the shame of it for long enough”.

“There’s no more stigma – let’s be done with that. It’s time,” he said.

“The shame of that time compounded with the shame that had already (accumulated) in my life silenced me, and I have lived with that shame in silence for 14 years.”

Billy said he told few people about his diagnosis, not even his mother, adding that he wasn’t certain if he could “have a life and a career” if “the wrong people knew”.

“It would just be another way for people to discriminate against me in an already discriminatory profession,” he said. “So I tried to think about it as little as I could. I tried to block it out.”

He said the Covid crisis made him confront his trauma, and he eventually “ripped the band-aid off” and told his mother on the day of filming the final episode of Pose.

However, Billy used his character in Pose – ballroom emcee Pray Tell – as a proxy, saying: “I was able to say everything that I wanted to say through a surrogate.

“As a Black person, particularly a Black man on this planet, you have to be perfect or you will get killed. But look at me. Yes, I am the statistic, but I’ve transcended it.”

Billy also explained that his viral load is undetectable thanks to “amazing” developments in HIV medication, which also means that he cannot transmit the virus.

“This is what HIV-positive looks like now. I’m going to die from something else before I die from that.

“My T-cell levels are twice yours because of this medication.”

He added: “I’m doing this for me. I have too much shit to do, and I don’t have any fear about it anymore.

“I don’t care what anyone has to say. You’re either with me or simply move out of the way.”

Billy at last week’s Brit Awards

Billy is one of the main stars of hit US drama Pose, which depicts New York’s ballroom scene of the 1980s and ’90s against the backdrop of the HIV and AIDS crisis.

The show broke fresh ground for queer representation upon its 2018 premiere by featuring television’s largest-ever cast of transgender actors in series regular roles, as well as the largest LGBTQ cast for a scripted series.

In 2019, Billy also became the first gay Black man to win an Emmy for lead actor in a drama for his portrayal of Pray Tell.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the third series of Pose would be the show’s last, and consist of seven episodes.

Emma Stone Reveals Why She Suspects Leonardo DiCaprio Thinks She’s ‘A Little Weird’

While Emma Stone is a Hollywood legend in her own right, it’s good to know she’s as goofy around other big stars as we would be.

The La La Land actor has said she is convinced Leonardo DiCaprio thinks she’s “a little weird” after her behaviour around him.

Emma is a self-confessed Leo super fan, and described meeting the Titanic star when he presented her with her Oscar in 2017 as “the most surreal moment of my life”.

“I was like, I’d seen Titanic seven and a half times in theatres. He was the love of my life,” Emma told SiriusXM’s Jess Cagle

“I had a picture of him in my bedroom that was signed, that I had gotten for my birthday when I was like 12 years old and I was walking to Leo. I was like, this is officially the most surreal moment of my life. I could not believe it.”

Emma, who won the Best Actress Academy Award for her role in La La Land, continued: “I think he probably thinks I’m like a little weird, cause whenever I see him, I’m kind of like, ‘Hey, how’s it going?’ You know, just in little moments when you’re at the same event or something. He’s very sweet though.”

Asked to expand on what Leo is like IRL, Emma continued: “He’s very tall and he’s so lovely.

“It doesn’t really seem fair because then it’s like putting someone in a place that like no human beings should really be in that kind of place,” she said. “That’s silly—like nobody’s any different than anybody.”

However, Emma added that to her, Leo will always be his heartthrob character from Titanic.

“He’s stuck in my head as Jack Dawson. He just always will be,” she said.
