Jamie And Jools Oliver Share Stunning Pics As They Renew Wedding Vows In Maldives

Jamie and Jools Oliver have shared a series of stunning pictures after renewing their wedding vows in the Maldives.

Thee TV chef and the former model were joined by their five children at the “special, funny and romantic ceremony”, 23 years after they first tied the knot.

The couple, who married in a church ceremony in Essex in July 2000, shared snaps from their beach cermony on Instagram.

“Morning all, Me & @joolsoliver got married again!” Jamie captioned the snaps.

“Yep After 23 years together, we thought it would be a special moment to celebrate renewing our wedding vows before the kids all start leaving the nest.

“It was really special, funny and romantic with the words in the ceremony making more sense having come this far together.

“It seems like a blink since the first wedding which we kept very private apart from the paparazzi at the village church we thought it would be a happy and joyful moment to share with you all this Easter.

“We’ve always dreamed of going to the Maldives and it was just as you would have dreamed, simply amazing !

The images show the couple and their five children – Poppy, Daisy, Petal, Buddy and River – dressed in white and pale blue outfits on a tiny sandy island in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

Last year, Jamie opened up about Jools’ “deeply scary” two-year long Covid battle.

The TV chef hailed the mum-of-five as “an absolute superstar”, revealing the 47-year-old has been “really affected” by the virus.

He told the Daily Mail Weekend magazine: “She’s had bad Covid and long Covid so she’s been really affected by it, sadly.

“She’s okay but still not what she wants to be. It’s been two years, she finds it deeply scary.”

Alison Hammond And Vanessa Feltz Under Fire For Comments Over Singing Along At Musicals

This Morning has come under fire over comments made by presenter Alison Hammond and guest Vanessa Feltz about singing along at musicals, which were branded “incredibly stupid”.

On Friday’s programme, Alison and co-host Dermot O’Leary were joined by guest Vanessa Feltz where they discussed the banning of singing at the Manchester production of The Bodyguard musical.

Ahead of each performance at the Palace Theatre, staff carry signs asking the audience to ‘refrain from singing’.

Reading off a script during Friday’s show, Alison said that staff were taking the new rules “very, very seriously” and are “regularly walking up and down the aisles.”

As Dermot burst into laughter, Alison said: “I can’t believe it. I’d be devastated. I’m not even going to go to that show now.”

Vanessa then added: “Isn’t the whole point of going to a musical that you know that you sing along to all the bits you know and when you don’t know the words you just make them up.

“Isn’t that what everybody does? And very, very loudly while eating an ice cream.”

On Friday evening, two audience members were thrown out of Manchester’s Palace Theatre for singing loudly along to I Will Always Love You, which caused the production of The Bodyguard to be cut short.

Many viewers and performers have shared their outrage over the comments made on This Morning, with theatre actor Alice Fearn, who stars in the musical Wicked, describing them as “so incredibly stupid”.

“Who the hell do they think you are?! I am incredibly disappointed with all of the presenters here,” Alice tweeted.

“To actually think you have the RIGHT to sing along to a professional production is mind-blowing to me. If you want that… go to karaoke. I’m totally furious.”

Many others echoed Alice’s thoughts on social media…

He said there had been “disgusting behaviour” and though the cast “wanted to carry on”, they were unable to because “it had become a major incident”.

He added that he was “really sorry to what was 99.9% a brilliant audience”.

The Bodyguard Cast Apologise To Fans After Disruptive Audience Members Cause Show To Be Cut Short

The two leads in the Manchester production of The Bodyguard musical have apologised to fans after Friday’s performance of the show was forced to end early because of two disruptive audience members.

Former Pussycat Dolls member Melody Thornton, who plays the lead role, spoke out after the last 10 minutes of the musical at the Palace Theatre was cut after some members of the audience refused to remain seated and refrain from loudly singing.

Speaking in a video posted to her Instagram story on Friday evening, Meody said: “I wanted to send a really special message to people in Manchester who came to the show tonight to say thank you so much.

“I respect that you paid your money and I am so grateful to everyone who respects the people on stage who want to give you a beautiful show. For everything that happened tonight, I don’t have all of the details, I just am very, very sorry that we couldn’t finish the show. I fought really hard. It feels awful, and I just hope that we see you again.

“The Bodyguard is a great show. It’s a wonderful story and love story. And I know people were out to see just a really beautiful show. I thank everyone who was respectful of the performers, and I’m very sorry for those who weren’t. I hope that we see you soon. That’s it. Thank you love you.”

Greater Manchester Police said: “Officers were called to the Palace Theatre last night (April 7 2023) after staff reported a number of people in the audience causing a disturbance.

“Two people removed by security staff were spoken to by police and a decision about any further action will be made once the evidence has been reviewed.”

Tash Kenyon, a 27-year-old payroll clerk from the Wirral, told the PA news agency that she and her mother Jan Kenyon, a nurse, had gone to see the show for Jan’s 65th birthday.

Tash said: “Before the performance the stewards were walking up and down the aisles with signs saying ‘please refrain from singing along’ – they were incredibly hard to miss. Two announcements were made as well saying ‘please don’t sing’ and that the audience would have a chance to join in in the finale.

“The show was halted about 20 minutes in as some guests were singing. The guests were removed, and the show continued. The show had about 10 minutes left when the lead started performing I Will Always Love You.

“Someone shouted ‘Does this mean we can start singing now?’ Which set the audience off laughing, and that’s when the singing started over the top of the lead’s vocals.

“The show stopped a minute later, the lights went on, and I couldn’t see from my seat but I could hear the commotion from the 2nd tier of seats, and people were looking up shocked.

“I’m pretty sure some women were being forcibly removed. There was already a police van outside.

A 60-year-old audience member told PA that following the shouts of ‘can we sing now’ “security intervened and a scuffle broke out and police were called – one police van and two police cars”.

A spokesperson for The Palace Theatre confirmed that despite the disruption on Friday, scheduled performances of the show will take place as normal.

A statement said: “The performance of The Bodyguard at The Palace Theatre, Manchester, was stopped at 9.40pm last night and not continued.

“We are disappointed that the last 10 minutes of the show needed to be cancelled due to disruptive customers refusing to stay seated and spoiling the performance for others.

“We are grateful to our venue teams for dealing with these difficult circumstances in a professional and calm way, and to Greater Manchester Police for their assistance.

“Future performances will continue as planned and we ask that customers are considerate towards the cast, fellow audience members and theatre team so that everyone can enjoy the wonderful entertainment on stage.”

Melody plays Rachel Marron in the touring theatre production, which follows Secret Service agent-turned-bodyguard Frank Farmer, played by Ayden, as he is hired to protect superstar Rachel from an unknown stalker.

The Iconic New Barbie Movie Posters Have Become The Internet’s Favourite New Meme

As promotional film rollouts go, the Barbie movie’s marketing campaign has to be up there with the best of them.

Not only do they confirm long-standing rumours that lead stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are not the only Barbie and Kens in the film, but they see the star-studded cast posing for a selection of iconic shots revealing the ‘alternative’ versions of the dolls and other additional characters.

Previously announced stars including Sex Education actors Emma Mackey and Ncuti Gatwa, Emerald Fennell, Issa Rae, Hari Nef, America Ferrera, Simu Liu and Kate McKinnon all appear alongside a fresh-batch of famous faces.

They include the likes of Helen Mirren, Will Ferrell, Dua Lipa, Bridgerton’s Nicola Coughlan, Sex Education’s Connor Swindells and Stath Let’s Flats creator Jamie Demetriou, who will all appear in the film.

The new casting announcements has basically got everyone wondering who isn’t going to be in the film when it is released in July.

So naturally, the internet has been having some fun coming up with ideas of who else should be in it…

Alongside the new movie posters, a second more detailed trailer also debuted – which you can watch at the top of this post.

Barbie is written and directed by Greta Gerwig, known for helming Little Women and Lady Bird, as well as acting in films like Frances Ha and 20th Century Women.

Barbie is released in cinemas worldwide on 21 July 2023.

Brother Of Phillip Schofield Found Guilty Of Sexually Abusing Teenager

The brother of TV presenter Phillip Schofield has been found guilty of sexually abusing a teenage boy over a period of three years.

Timothy Schofield was convicted of 11 sexual offences involving a child between October 2016 and October 2019, including two of sexual activity with a child, following a trial at Exeter Crown Court.

The jury found him guilty on all counts with a majority of 10-2 after more than five-and-a-half hours of deliberation.

The 54-year-old, a civilian police worker from Bath, told the jury while giving evidence that he had watched pornography with the boy, whom he insisted was over the age of 16 at that time, and they had masturbated while sitting apart, but denied performing sexual acts on the teenager.

Jurors heard previously the defendant told his elder brother Phillip in September 2021 that he and the complainant had watched pornography together.

In a statement released by his lawyer after the guilty verdict, Phillip Schofield said: “My overwhelming concern is and has always been for the wellbeing of the victim and his family. I hope that their privacy will now be respected.

“If any crime had ever been confessed to me by my brother, I would have acted immediately to protect the victim and their family.

“These are despicable crimes, and I welcome the guilty verdicts. As far as I am concerned, I no longer have a brother.”

The boy, who alleged the offending started when he was 13, told the jury he felt “emotionally blackmailed” by Schofield and “forced” to participate in sexual activity.

He said: “I felt that emotionally there was no escape from what we had to do and I felt that there was a tremendous amount of pressure and expectation for me to fulfil what was being asked and wanted.”

Phillip Schofield described in a written statement how his brother had phoned him in an agitated and upset state, and Mr Schofield had invited him to drive to his home in London.

The court heard they spent several hours talking, including eating a meal, before he went to do the washing-up.

He told how his brother said “You are going to hate me for what I am about to say”, with him assuring him there was nothing he could say that would do that.

Mr Schofield said in the statement: “Then he said that he and (the boy) had time together and that last year they had watched porn … and (masturbated)”.

“I turned and said, ‘What did you just say?’ He said it was last year and we were alone together. Tim said it was just this once. I told him it should never happen again. He then started to tell me about (the boy’s) body.

“I said, ‘F***, stop’. I shouted at Tim that he had to stop. I didn’t want to know any of the details but he made it sound like a one-off.

“I said, ‘I don’t want you to tell me any more’. I said, ‘You’ve got to stop, just never do it again. Regardless how that happened, it must never happen again’.”

Giving evidence during the trial, the defendant told the jury he had been gay his “entire life” but had kept it “completely secret and hidden from everybody”.

He described this as “incredibly difficult” and told the court he had struggled with mental health problems for years.

The defendant wept as he was asked about phoning his famous brother before driving to his home in London.

Peter Binder, representing Schofield, asked: “You told him you were on the verge of killing yourself?”

Schofield wept as he said: “That’s correct. I was so alone.”

He insisted the teenager was “old enough” to choose to watch pornography with him.

He told the jury: “It was a consensual thing after the age of 16. He never in any way said no at all.”

He admitted searching for terms on a legal pornography website including “young boy teen sex” and “gay teen torrents”, but insisted he believed this would return results showing men aged between 18 and their early twenties.

Schofield denied the charges but was convicted of three counts of causing a child to watch sexual activity, three of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child, three of causing a child to engage in sexual activity and two of sexual activity with a child.

Judge Mrs Justice Cutts remanded him in custody ahead of sentencing at Bristol Crown Court on May 19.

An NSPCC spokesperson said: “Child sexual abuse can have devastating and long-lasting impact on a person’s life and Timothy Schofield’s actions were deeply harmful. We hope that the young man he targeted is receiving all the support he needs to move forward with his life.”

Man Who Sued Gwyneth Paltrow Over Ski Crash Says Trial Was ‘Absolutely Not’ Worth It

The retired optometrist who lost a lawsuit against Gwyneth Paltrow over a ski collision has admitted that he has regrets about suing.

Terry Sanderson had accused the Oscar-winning actor and lifestyle mogul of crashing into him on the slopes of Utah’s upscale Deer Valley Resort in 2016.

He said the alleged hit-and-run left him seriously injured, and initially sought $3 million in damages (£2.43 million), which was later reduced to $300,000 (around £243,000).

Paltrow, for her part, said that Sanderson had actually skied into her.

Earlier this week, a Park City jury sided with Paltrow, who had countersued Sanderson for only one dollar and the payment of her legal fees.

After the trial, Sanderson told reporters that he was “very disappointed” in the verdict. When reporters asked whether the ordeal of the highly publicised litigation – which included scrutiny of his medical history and media mockery – was “worth it,” he had a definitive answer: “Absolutely not.”

“I joked about dating sites, right?” Sanderson said, referring to earlier comments he made about how the trial would make online dating difficult. “It’s like, I’m going to be on the internet forever.”

He also shut down a suggestion from Extra host Billy Bush about appearing on a reality show.

“I don’t need that,” Sanderson responded.

He did, however, praise Paltrow as being “very kind” at the conclusion of the trial, when she exited the courtroom and whispered to him, “I wish you well.”

Jennifer Aniston Has Priceless Reaction After Learning How Old Ben From Friends Is Now

Jennifer Aniston could not quite believe it when she was told how old the actors who played Ben in Friends are now.

The Rachel Green actor had a priceless reaction to the revelation during a recent interview alongside her Murder Mystery 2 co-star Adam Sandler.

Twins Cole and Dylan Sprouse shared the role of Ross Geller’s son in the sitcom that made a worldwide name of Jennifer.

The topic of the twins came up during a chat with Access Hollywood this week, as Adam had also once shared the screen with them in the 1999 film Big Daddy.

Adam joked: “I set the table for the kids to hop on Friends. That was one thing that Jen said when I first met her: ‘Would you please break in the children for us?’ I said, ‘Yeah, you got it.’”

“You did, and now look at them,” Jennifer replied.

The interviewer then brought up comments made by Cole in 2021, admitting he found working on Friends difficult because of a huge crush he had on Jennifer.

“He was so little?” a confused Jennifer said.

“They’re 30 now,” the interviewer then revealed.

Jennifer was visibly stunned, as both her and Adam exclaimed: “What?!”

“No! No, they’re not,” Jen said, adding: “Wow, that’s so crazy.”

“That’s hilarious,” Adam said.

Jennifer was equally as stunned earlier this month when she was reunited with another child actor from the show, 27 years after she made a guest appearance.
