We Really, Really Hope This Exciting Victoria Beckham Rumour Turns Out To Be True

There’s no doubt that Victoria Beckham was a standout star from Beckham, a four-part Netflix docu-series that explores all aspects of her husband’s life.

The film charted the highs and lows of David Beckham’s life and career, featuring interviews with his wife, who many feel stole the show due to her humorous charm.

And now, it seems fans may be in for another treat, as reports have claimed she is about to land a documentary series of her own.

According to The Sun, the fashion designer has been approached about starring in a series that will document her life; throwing it back to her Spice Girls fame to building her luxury fashion house and clean luxury beauty and skincare brand.

They claim discussions have been continuous since the summer on a potential series.

An unnamed source also told the publication that the show would allow people to “see, in depth, her wit and sarcasm” – something fans particularly loved about her appearances in Beckham.

The report also suggested many of her celebrity pals could be set to feature, too.

Needless to say the reports – while still unconfirmed – have been met with much excitement online.

HuffPost UK has reached out to Netflix for comment, and is awaiting a response.

When Beckham dropped on the streaming service earlier this month, Victoria amused viewers during a particular moment that saw her claim to have grown up “working class”.

However, David was quick to dispel this myth, leaving her to admit that her father drove her to school in a Rolls Royce.

Beckham is available to watch on Netflix now.

EastEnders Fans Uncover Potential Return Of Soap Villain After On-Set Clue

Between Michelle Collins’ comeback as Cindy Beale, and Jaqueline Jossa’s forthcoming reappearance as Lauren Branning, the EastEnders returnees have been coming thick and fast lately.

And now fans are convinced that another big character is set to walk back into Walford in the very near future – the villainous Dean Wicks.

Played by actor Matt Di Angelo, Dean left the BBC soap back in 2016 after being acquitted of the attempted rape of Roxy Mitchell (played by Rita Simmons).

But now, eagle-eyed followers of the show seem to have spotted Matt in the background of a photo which was taken in the Queen Vic pub.

“This BTS pic of current filming for Xmas eps, I swear this is Dean in the background..,” one fan wrote on X/Twitter.

The potential news comes after show boss Chris Clenshaw teased that Linda Carter, played by Kellie Bright, will be getting a major shock this Halloween.

The Queen Vic landlady – who was raped by Dean back in 2014 – is facing her first year without husband Mick (Danny Dyer), who is presumed to be dead after drowning in a horrific car crash last Christmas.

“Poor Linda’s struggling this Halloween as it’s the first one without Mick,” Chris previously told Inside Soap. “Obviously she wasn’t with Mick this time last year, but Halloween was very much their thing, and something they did together in the Vic.

“So, she’s trying her best to make a go of things, but she gets one hell of a surprise that she doesn’t bargain for…”

And fans will also know that a huge Christmas storyline is set to go down, which was hinted at in a dramatic flash-forward episode back in February, and showed Linda, Suki Panesar, Stacey Slater, Denise Fox, Sharon Watts and Kathy Beale standing over a male body in the Walford pub.

The identity of the victim and the killer are yet to be revealed – but with Dean’s potential return to the street, could this be the way he meets his grizzly end?

A source told The Sun: “Dean is the ultimate villain so to bring him back was a genius move especially with everything that’s coming up this autumn. There’s also the small matter of the big murder at Christmas, could it be Dean’s body under the tree?

“We know that Linda is one of the women involved, and this just throws another name in the mix. It’s a very exciting time.”

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Alison Hammond’s Hysterics As Dermot O’Leary Outs Her Secret Is Pure Friday Joy

Alison Hammond has proven once again that her laugh is a tonic to us all, as she broke into hysterics on Friday’s This Morning.

During a segment on the happiness of finding unexpected change around the house, her co-host Dermot O’Leary outed Alison when she told viewers a story about a time she did a good deed.

Alison told her co-stars: “I did find a note the other day. I was coming out of a car park and I was walking and I looked at the floor and I was like, that looks like a £20 note. It was! I picked it up and I donated it to charity.”

As the guests praised Alison’s actions and she smiled to the camera, Dermot pulled a face and interjected: “Hang on, when you say you donated it to charity…”

The Great British Bake Off host kept trying to move on and stick to the schedule, Dermot kept pestering her to “tell the truth” about what she did with the money.

As they both broke into hysterics, Alison wheezed through her infectious laughter: “I’m never telling you anything again!”

Before Dermot revealed her secret to the audience: “She went to the charity shop and she bought a handbag for £15.”

“For charity” she choked through her tears of laughter, as she went on to admit: “I did keep the five pounds and buy some sweets with that one.”

Later, Dermot added: “It was a lovely bag print,” as Alison laughed: “I am very grateful.”

It comes after the host was on hand to support Great British Bake Off contestant Tasha when she fell ill mid-way through Tuesday’s episode.

Alison escorted the baker back to the house, after Tasha scummed to the intense heat during Chocolate Week.

Her absence then threw the programme’s trusted formula into chaos, as Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith made the decision to not eliminate anyone from the competition, with the caveat that two would leave next week.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1.

AJ Odudu Has 1 Relatable Reason Why You Won’t See Her Hosting This Morning

ITV’s daytime telly behemoth This Morning has really been through it recently, but is now entering a new chapter as it searches for new co-hosts to replace Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

While the team on air at the moment includes Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle, one person who won’t be joining joining the sofa after her current gig hosting the Big Brother reboot is AJ Odudu.

The presenter has addressed rumours that she’s set to replace Holly with a definitive, ‘No’.

Speaking to The Sun, the former Strictly Come Dancing finalist shared exactly why she’s already written herself out of the running.

She said: “I couldn’t cope with the early starts. I don’t do mornings. They have to be there at like, 8am. I’m a night owl. But, of course, the idea is flattering.”

Seems like fair reasoning to us, AJ.

She also added that she prefers to keep a low-profile – despite currently being watched by the nation nightly on Big Brother.

“I think, because I live in London, everyone is quite used to seeing people and no one really gives me much notice,” she explained.

“It’s only when I open my mouth, and they hear my voice that I seem to get recognised. I think I got more attention when I was out and about when I was doing Strictly.”

This Morning had been hosted by Phillip Schofield from 2002 and Holly Willoughby from 2009, with the pair presenting together until May this year, when the former stepped down before later admitting to an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger colleague.

As the search for Phillip and Holly’s replacements continue, married couple Marvin and Rochelle Humes have been highly-touted names, while Davina McCall, Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard are also said to be in the running.

Other frontrunners include current rotating presenters like Alison, Dermot, Josie and Craig.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.

Adele is known to enjoy a natter on stage during a show, but a recent discussion about the new David Beckham documentary is possibly her most relatable yet.

The revealing new Netflix documentary, titled Beckham, gives viewers an unprecedented look into the football legend’s career and personal life – from his highlights with Manchester United and captaining for England, to his marriage and family life with Victoria in her Spice Girls days.

It turns out that Adele – who is currently performing her Weekends With Adele residency in Las Vegas – was a massive fan of the new four-part series.

During a performance at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace earlier this month, the Easy On Me singer took a moment to share her love of Posh and Becks with the crowd.

“To us, because I’m British, Beckham and Posh are literally like our king and queen,” she enthused. “For real – we absolutely love them. It feels like my whole life I’ve been watching them and loving everything that they do. So I watched it and it made me feel very nostalgic.”

Adele, a woman of our own heart, went on: “I just love a bit of Beckham, really. He’s absolutely the national worldwide treasure to me.”

The Grammy-winning singer told her fans that if they haven’t seen it “you should watch it”, before warning: “It is very British though – although the person that’s talking to him [filmmaker Fisher Stevens] is American, which is a bit strange. Only because [David’s] so British.”

In another clip from a recent show, Adele was filmed confessing that she was awake until 3.30am the previous night watching the documentary.

She said: “Yesterday I started the Beckham documentary, have any of you started? And I finished it last night and I didn’t want to go to sleep. I absolutely loved it. I thought it was wonderful. It was very nostalgic and very moving and it made me very homesick.”

The British singer enlightened the US crowd, noting: “They’re absolute legends to us, Beckham and also Posh. Especially when I was a kid, she was a Spice Girl and he was the captain of England. Can you imagine?”

Adele also shared that she “absolutely loved it”, while adding that she’s not always a fan of documentaries, “because normally it’s someone who has six months under their belt of doing something and they want to do a documentary, and I’m like, ‘wow’. But that’s a 25-year career”.

Adele put in a final plug for the documentary, telling fans: “Even if you’re not into football, or soccer, it’s actually really beautiful, so I’d really recommend it, especially as there’s a lot of you flying home tomorrow or the day after, so it’s a nice little easy watch on the plane.”

Upon the release of the new documentary, David made a rare public appearance at the premiere with all four of his children – 24-year-old Brooklyn, 21-year-old Romeo and 18-year-old Cruz, as well as their 12-year-old daughter Harper.

In the documentary, David’s intervention when he heard Victoria discussing her “working class” roots sparked a hilarious viral moment. Meanwhile, people are only just realising how hilarious Victoria is.

At the documentary’s UK premiere, however, David responded to the criticism levelled at him for accepting an ambassador role for Qatar during last year’s World Cup.

The director also later addressed the decision not to include the backlash faced by the former footballer.

All four episodes of Beckham are now streaming on Netflix.
